Fame – (Chapter: The new bass player?)
The final song was coming to an end, Ashley couldn’t have been happier. Her fingers were bleeding and she was soaked from head to toe in sweat and grime. Making her feel gross and highly uncomfortable. She also felt dead tired. Despite her exhaustion, she watched, with pride, as the kids in the crowd moshed, jumped, and sung along to the ending lyrics Glen was screaming out. Finally, it was finished, and she held up her black/white Gibson SG guitar high in the air, bowing deeply, her dark auburn hair clung to her sweat soaked skin. “Thank you Boston! You guys are fucking amazing!” She spoke slightly out of breath to the screaming fans.
Ashley tossed a couple of guitar picks out into the crowd and then walked off stage. Her personal assistant, Rachael, soon appeared at her side, handing her a hotel room key, she said “You only have 10 minutes before we head out.” Ashley just nodded and entered her dressing room. The lights were off, she leaned against the door, her eyes adjusting to the darkness of the room; she listened to the crowd screaming outside. Begging for encores.
Ashley smiled. She wasn’t surprised. Their band was too fucking awesome to not have fans screaming for more. Ashley Davies played lead guitar and sung back up for the band ’16 candles from hell’. Her father, Raife Davies, started the band a few years back and now managed it. He chose each of the band members and was not surprised when they soon became a big hit. Ashley played lead guitar, since she was so experienced; Raife began teaching her how to play at an early age. He met Glen through a small ad in the newspaper. Glen was a great singer and played both guitar and keyboard. Glen’s brother, Clay, ended up on drums and Clay had a friend, Sean, who played bass.
The exhausted 17 year old flipped on the light and extracted herself from her Gibson. She set the black/white guitar against a chair and strode towards the mini fridge. She grabbed herself a beer and walked out the room. She just wanted to go back to the hotel and sleep, but she knew that wasn’t going to happen. Tonight was Aiden Dennison’s birthday party. Aiden Dennison played bass and sung back up for the band, ‘Suffocate me Blind’, one of their touring buddies.

While hot, (definately was that!) you also did a good job writing it. I think my favorite line was at the end when Ashley said: “Sorry sweetheart but no one fucks me.” kick ass if I do say so myself. Keep up the good work I’m looking forward to reading more.
