Splashy a different story

25 years later……

There’s a lot of group of people standing around to caskets. Two of the people look familiar; one has dark curly hair chocolate brown eyes. The other has blonde hair blue eyes. Only they’re way too young to be them surely?????

Jump to wake in a familiar house, an older looking Paula walk’s over to the blonde girl, and puts a comforting arm around her. She hugs her tightly whispers in her ear something only the young girl will hear she only looks about 11. The dark haired girl of about 15 comes over.

‘Hey grandma’, she says as she joins her younger sister.

‘Hey Gracie baby’, she takes Gracie and hugs her with her sister.

Gracie pulls away turns to her sister, who is still very upset, ‘Sammy come with me to mom’s room I need to give you something that was meant for your birthday’.

The younger girl just looks up at her sister doesn’t say anything just gets up and leaves hand in hand with he sister. Mrs Carlin breaks down when they have left the room; Mr Carlin walks over and hugs his wife. ‘I can’t believe she’s gone both of them. How will the girls get over this’?

Arthur looks at his wife not knowing what to do after a long pause ‘we’ll cope the girls will eventually move on and we’ll be there when they do’. He gives a little smile to his wife before getting up to say goodbye to some of the guest who are leaving.

In the kitchen Glen is talking to Chelsea and Clay Jr, ‘I can’t believe we had a stupid fight before she left’, Glen says his voice breaking every now and then.

‘Hey don’t beat yourself up it wasn’t your fault, Spence loved you Glen no matter what was said between the two of you’. Chelsea says.

‘It shouldn’t have happened to them now they’ve been through a lot and the past year they’ve had they where lucky to still be together’. Junior hugs his mother then turns to his heavily pregnant wife who is ready to leave. He says goodbye to his grandparents and the other guests.
