    Author Notes:

    Spencer learns something about Ashley’s love life that she finds strange.

         Spencer! Earth to Spencer! Oh my god I need to snap out of it and stop staring. It feels like I’ve been staring at her for hours. I really hope she didn’t say anything, that would NOT be good. I think Mandy would wonder why her STRAIGHT friend Spencer is mesmerized by her best friend to the point of not hearing her speak. Oh good she’s not looking at me weird so it must not have been that long.

              Mandy began to speak while Ashley quickly turned away from Spencer avoiding eye contact.

    "Hey Ash, this is my friend Spence, she’s in my chorus period"

          Ashley turned to look at Spencer and locked eyes with her. Click, there was an instant inexplicable connection. Brown mixed with blue as a smile grew on both their faces.

    "Well hi Spencer, my name’s Ashley and i tortue Mandy here for a living"

          They both began to laugh as Mandy glared at them wanting them to stop.

          This girl is beautiful AND funny…and that voice of her’s, wow can you say hot? I didn’t think someone’s voice could ever turn me on. I mean dirty talk is different, but all she did was say hi and my knees felt weak…umm..weird?
          Spencer saw the look on Mandy’s face and decided to make a joke.

    "Aww cmon Mandy cheer up, you know we make fun of each other ALL the time, soo this is nothing new. Besides, think of it as payback for making fun of that big girl in our class that’s obsessed with horses."

          Mandy began cracking up.

    "Heyy that’s not fair! She had it coming for following me around like a weirdo"

          Spencer gave her a skeptical look and gave a side glance to Ashley to see if she was still paying attention. Ashley was looking right at her and Spencer blushed knowing she had been caught.

    "AAND? you told the girl your horse wasn’t big enough for her to ride and then later told me that if she got on it all it’s legs would break"

    "Okkk..but in my defense I didn’t come right out and say it. She ASKED me how big my horse was and I was annoyed so i said, "Not big enough".

          Spencer just stared at her smiling at her attempt to defend herself.
