Chapter 10

We walked into the house and saw Dylan sitting alone near the far corner.  I walked farther into the room and noticed why. Tory was sitting in there as well watching television or better yet watching Dylan.  I was about to walk over to Dylan but Ashley beat me to it.

“Hey Big Guy,” she said as she bent down to his level. “Look what I got.” She pulled off her necklace that had a blue stone on the end. The necklace she knew Dylan liked because of the color. Blue was Dylan’s calming color. He took the necklace and pulled it to him. Ashley just sat and watched him until he finally got up and walked over to Kali and then two went up to his room.

“Baby, you are so good with him.” I walked over and gave her a kiss. She amazes me every day and every day I think I fall in love with her, but I was not ready to tell her that. It was too soon.

“Nah, he is just a great kid.” She kissed me again then we both noticed Tory looking at us. Well looking more at me and looking hurt. I had completely forgotten she was even here.

“Sorry Tory.” I walked over and sat on the couch opposite her. Ashley sat beside me and touched my leg which made me blush. Every touch from her made me blush after the great time we had at her house earlier. I guess Tory and Ashley noticed because Ashley scooted closer and Tory’s frown grew bigger.

“Yea sorry Tory.” Ashley smiled at her then frowned when I punched her arm. “Ouch Spence.”

“Sorry Ashley.” I smiled at her and she pouted. “Anyway Tory are you in or out for the sleepover?”

“I’m in since it was Ashley’s way of getting to know me better and I so want to get to know her better too and all your other little friends Spence.”

“Great, well it’s a revisting your childhood night so we are going to play a lot of kid games and plus Kali is going to be there too since she is Ashley’s only girl friend.”
