To be truthfully honest,seeing him like this scared me. Jasper knew.He winced.Jasper put out his hand to me.I took it amnd rose from the couch. Edward needed a moment. I went over to Rosalie and took Renesme. I left and went to the cottage. I put her to sleep and lay on our bed.I looked up at the ceiling and empty space next to me. I thought this agony was over.Guess not.

"Bella," Edward whispered.
"In here,"I whispered back.

He came through the door with a faint smile on his face.

"I'm sorry,Love.I truly thought this was behind us."Edward said.
I kissed him gently.
"This is no more your fault than anyone else.We couldn't have known they would follow us.' I explained.

"Yes but I expected it to happen. As a possibiilty."He replied.

He sat up and took a deep breath.

"Bella…You know how much I love you right?" He asked a question that made me worry more than before.I wished Jasper was

there.

'Yes….Why ?'I asked.

"I want to make sure."He said

Unsettling.To hear him question my love and devotion to him.Maybe Alice could give me some answers. Tomorrow I would go back to the house and speak to her.Wait! Tomorrow was when the newborns and wolves would come for me and Renesme. How could they turn on us? Well,I knew but……It was times like this I wish I could sleep. Just so my mind wouldn't wander off like this.There was a knock at the door.

"Bella!"Jasper called.

I got up with Edward behind me.I opened the door to see my brother-in-law with a worried look on his face.

"Hi Jaz."I said.

"Calm….."He said. I instantly felt all my feelings rush out.I took a deep breath.I wrapped my arms around him.I felt so calm.

" What's the matter?" Edward asked.

"Edward,she was so nervous I could feel it from the house.I couldn't just leave her like that."Jasper gave a faint smile.

"Thanks Jasper."Edward said as I let go of him.

"No problem.Listen,Alice wants you guys to come back around two."He said.

"Oh…."Edward said.I could tell it was from Jasper's thoughts."Thank you,and thank Alice."He said seriously.

"Bye"Jasper said.He kissed my cheek and mock  punched Edward,who didnt move."Calm Bella." He said before he left.

I shook my head and headed back to the bed.Edward didn't move.

"Edward…I'm over here!"I said playfully.He looked at me with worried eyes.

"How can you talk like that when something like this is going on?"He asked in disgust.

"Edward,We'll be fine.Like always.I'm not fragile anymore. I CAN take care of my family."I raised my voice.I was growling from inside my chest.I realized and sank into my seat.He came next to me and wrapped his arms around me.

It's two-o-clock,according to Edward,DOOMSDAY.I went over to the house with Renesme in my arms.Edward was clutching my hand.
