    Bad day….Dont ask (chp 1)

“*****, *****, *****!” Tina exclaimed as she ran across the street over to her red Porsche. It looked somewhat expensive to be sitting on the side of the street.

A perfect day in L.A. The sun was shinning, the birds whistling their happy tunes and the occasional cab driver honking the horn and abusing other fellow car drivers.

Tina slammed the car door shut, hastily pulled the steering wheel lock off and yanked her seat belt to the clasp. Then with a couple full powered grunts from the tiger that lay beneath the bonnet, she looked in the side mirrors and her blind spot, to eventually pull out of her parking space.

Today her car was being pushed to the max, since Tina was late for a meeting with one of her college professors, discussing an internship with one of the finest lawyers in LA. The only reason she was running late was that a guy named Perry kept trying to smooth talk his way into Tina’s ride, which Tina happily showed the slim ball where to go, by slapping him across the face. All she wanted to get at the library was a book on “the L word.”

‘God I love that show!’ Her mind exclaimed as she picked up the book carefully, not wanting it to vanish from her eye-site. ‘There are so many good writers in here…Like Tavy125, prozacprincess, hackgirl, Skipton, AmandaMG, JagerBomb and BTaddict. Damn this is a good book.”

After her event at the library, she started to read her book and forgot that time existed. Looking at her watch an hour later, almost made her white with guilt. “Dammit Tina.” she cursed herself that she could get so caught up in a book.

**So that brings you up to current events**

Tina’s schedule was hectic; she had chosen law as her major. Lectures, Assignments and all the paper in the world!! Sometimes she would wonder why she choose law as her career path, yet when it really came down to it, she was good at it! She liked the justice system, but more to the point the people that she would be able to help.

Since her studies consumed most of her time, she was single and dateless…By choice. Tina (if she wanted) could get any guy on campus. Her eyes, two chocolate orbs of emotion and passion, her figure as sweet as an hourglass, but most of all, her personality, sweet, caring and sometimes a little daring. However she found the guys on campus to be pompous slim-balls or to intellectual for her own good. Love wasnt on her agenda right now; right now her life consisted of study, eating, study, sleeping, personal hygiene, study and a part time job at a local coffee shop.

Tina looked at her watch anxiously as she slowed down to the lights. 12:45 “*****” she thought. “I was meant to be there at 12:30″

Next minute an all might “CRASH” came from behind. Pushing Tina into her front windscreen, bumping her head and then speeding back into her comfy seat.
“*****!” Tina shouted. “What else can go wrong today?”
She pushed her car door open and stepped out. She casually straightened out her clothes as she walked to the back of the car to assess the damage.

Two broken headlights…A used-to-be bumper, which now looked like a twisted liquorish stick and a cracked windshield.

“I’m so sorry.” The young gentleman offered in guilt. Tina glared at him, like a Rottweiler at an intruder to a car yard. The young man stepped back in fear, to then twiddle his thumbs and nervously made patterns on the ground with his foot. Tina went back at looking at her car, thinking of which Auto shop to take it to, to get everything repaired at a cheap price.

20 minutes later the cops showed up and took reports from both participants in the crash. The man was very earnest and took full responsibility in what happened. He said that he was looking for something in the glove box, when he looked up he was ploughing into Tina’s car. He gave Tina his full details, so Tina could bill him for the damage.

“Madame’ are you sure your all right?” The young good-looking constable asked.
“I’m fine, really. I just need to get my car fixed. Is it okay if I drive it? The I wan to go is only a couple of blocks down the street?” Tina stared at her reflection in the policemans shinny black sunglasses.
“I’d have to follow you.” He replied. Tina nodded in agreement. She trudged back to her car. “So much for my meeting.” she thought to herself as she started her not-so-posh Porsche’.

The policeman keeping his word followed her a couple of blocks down the road to Mickies. Tina pulled into a park and wave the young copper goodbye.
