Tina couldnt sleep, especially since Bette wasnt beside her. Her thoughts kept drifting to Bette and Alice together in bed. And to Alices story the other day regarding her feelings towards Bette. They are just friends. Maybe trying to catch up on what theyve missed But what if what theyve missed is each other? Tina thought. She kept tossing and turning the whole night.

3 hours later, Tina woke up to Bettes kisses.

Hey baby, Im glad youre back. Bette said, placing small kisses on Tinas face.

Hey you Tina said, pulling Bette closer to her.

Ive missed you so much Bette said. Alice kept me company the whole time you were gone

You missed me? Seems like you didnt. Tina said, turning around, wrapping her arms on a pillow as she remembered Alice.

I really did, T. Bette said, pulling Tina towards her. Is something wrong?

So Alice was here the whole time I was gone? Seems like youve been spending quite a lot of time with her. You two seem comfortable especially last night. Tina said.

Are you jealous of Alice? Bette teased Tina

Me? I dont get jealous. Tina said. Bette giggled.

Wow Shane and Dana also said the same thing to me the other night. Why whats with Alice? Bette asked

Is she still here? Tina asked

No she left after I cooked breakfast Bette said.

I did. In fact, I made you scrambled egg with mozzarella cheese and mushrooms Bette said, standing up to get Tinas food from the coffee table across their bed.

Wow no burns and this looks good Tina said, taking a bite. Oh yum it is good!

I took up cooking classes Bette said proudly

Really? Wow Im impressed. This is really good baby. Tina said, giving Bette a kiss. What’s that on your neck? Did Alice do that? Tinas eyes were wide as she thought Alice had given Bette hickeys.

Whats on my”Oh yea damn Alice Bette said, rubbing her neck. Got burned from Alices burger last night

Burned? Did you say burned? Tina asked

Yea Why are you looking at me like that? Bette said

Nothing I thought they were Tina said, taking a big bite of her scrambled eggs a la Bette. So tell me, what did you and Alice do while I was gone Tina said, changing the topic.

Oh well, we ate in a Chinese restaurant the other night and watched movies here. Oh and Alice is acting weird around me lately. Bette said. Hows work?

Like how weird? And you two slept on the airbed together?

Well I dont really know Shes just different now Like shes caring for me more nowShe actually fed me the other night and cooked dinner last night um Its not like were doing anything wrong. Bette said, looking at Tina and noticed Tina getting angry. Tina, why am I feeling that theres something wrong

I dont know. You tell me. Tina said, standing up and taking the plates to the kitchen. Bette decided to let it go, thinking Tinas cranky mood is coz of her stress from work. Bette went to the bathroom and decides to take a shower.

In the kitchen, Tina hears Bette taking a shower and decides to call Alice.

Hey Porter, you miss me already? Alice said as she answered the phone.

Oh ***** Tina! Im sorry. I was just kidding around. Hows the trip? Alice said, sounding nervous or scared.

What the ***** are you doing? Tina sternly said.

Nothing. Why? Oh yea you saw us last night on the bed? Tina, we both fell asleep. Nothing happened I swear Alice said

Bette told me what you two have been doing! You actually fed her? Did Bette ask you to cook dinner for her last night?

Well I just thought Id cook dinner for Bette thats all. Alice said. Look Tina, I am so sorry if I made you feel that way but I assure you that theres nothing going to happen between me and Bette. Shes all yours!

Are you trying to tell me that you still have those feelings for her? Tina said

Well um” Alice started to say but Tina cut her off.

Ok listen Alice, I dont think Im in the mood to do this right now but Im warning you ok? Tina said, rubbing her temples.

Ok. Bye Tina said. After putting the phone back on the cradle, she saw Bette in bathrobe.

Oh Jesus, Bette. You scared me Tina said, pouring herself coffee.

Who was on the phone? Whos trying to ruin our marriage? Bette asked Tina. Tina decides not to answer and so, she slowly drank her coffee.
