    Bette ends the call…She walks over to the nightstand and retrieves Tina’s number on a piece of paper that she had put it on…She thought that she should call Tina and find out what’s going on…She really didn’t feel as though it was in her nature to do so…She looked at the number one more time before picking up the phone…She dialed Tina’s number…She answered…

    Tina: hello…hello…hello…

    Bette ends the call…She tore the paper in half and tossed in the trash…She got dressed and called Tammy…The girl that attended Dana’s party from the other night…

    Alice’s house…That evening…

    Dana and Alice enter the living room with beers and shot glasses…They have a seat next to Shane and Tina…

    Shane: Tina I heard Eric proposed?

    Tina: please don’t remind me

    Alice: why not?…you should be happy Tina. You never know it might be for the best

    Tina: for who you or me? I can’t marry him Alice. I’m just not complete with him. We are not ready

    Alice: but Tina you guys have been together for 5 years. What’s not to be ready for?

    Tina: arguing everyday, constant fights, and alot of words that we both don’t mean. Why go through all of that when I could be somewhere else where I’m happy

    Shane: I agree

    Alice: no one asked you

    Shane: so what I still agree

    Dana: I agree also

    Alice is frustrated…

    Alice: so what’s your answer gonna be?

    Tina: no

    Alice chokes on her drink…

    Alice: no…what do you mean no?

    Tina: Alice have you been listening to anything that I said. Me and Eric are over. I don’t see us going any farther with our relationship. Just because he bought me a ring doesn’t patch things up. It makes me mad because he thinks that just because he spent eight hundred dollars on some ring that I’m suppossed to jump back in his arms. No way no how

    Tina shot one down…Alice looks at her

    Tina: god that was strong…Dana pour me another one

    Dana: sure besides Al Tina has a thing for Bette

    Tina blushes…

    Tina: Dana!

    Dana: what?…it’s the truth. The way you talk about her constantly. You sound like she’s someone that you would be happy with
