The Past Is Gone. Part 17

Today when Tina woke me up she had this weird smile on her face a little suspicious, but she just limited to the usual greetings for the day. And now we’re eating breakfast all four of us, counting my baby sis, and Bette’s the one who’s gonna say something I can feel it.

                – So Sydney What happened last night with you and Shane.- Ah! I knew this was coming.

                – Oh definitely not what you expected to happen, and I am really angry with you two for what you did.- I say, serious tone.

                – We? What did we do?- Tina says trying to sound innocent

                – You know what you did I’m not gonna tell you, but it was wrong, I don’t want to do anything about it, I don’t want to talk about it, you know why, that’s what surprises me the most, you are the only two people who know about my life, my past, and still you did this? I can’t believe you.- I say, now I start moving away from the table, towards the door where someone’s knocking, I know is Shane ’cause she said she’d pick me up, so I open the door and move out of the house leaving Tina and Bette to think about what they’ve done (just for the record, I’m kinda joking about it, but I am mad at them).

Therapy today was great, I mean if you take away the excruciating pain, it was quite good, Shane was actually very helpful and all, Sheila said that if I keep working like this I stand a very good chance to get my legs back. Anyways after the session Shane said she had something to do and just drop me at “the planet” all the girls where there so she didn’t had to worry. There’s Alice, Dana, and Tina, no Carmen or Jenny today, and Bette’s working. When I got here everyone just shut up, which mean they were talking about me, and now as I’m zipping my coffee, they are looking at me, like they are expecting me to say something, and I’m pretty sure what they think I’m gonna say.

                – Nothing happened! We barely even talk.- I say not even bothering to look up at them ’cause I know what they must look like right now.
