Shhh… Don’t tell anyone
It was very early in the morning but Shane had to wake up ‘cause she had a gig at one big movie set, she had been working on this studio for five days now and this was her very last day of having to wake up so fucking early. She was trying unsuccessfully not to wake up the woman sleeping next to her. – Good morning, beauty.- – Hey! What are you doing up? Go back to sleep, I’ll be outta here in a few minutes.- – I know, that’s why I woke up, I won’t see ‘till late tonight, and I’m gonna miss you a lot, so I wanted to see you before you were gone.- – Ummm, well you’ve seen me, now please go back to sleep, you need to rest, remember?- – How could I forget? When I have you to remind me every hour.- – You’re the one to blame for that, if you would listen to me once in a while, I wouldn’t have to remind you so often.- – Ok ok, I give up. Now hurry up or else you’ll be late for work.- It was a little over 5 years since the night Shane told Carmen she loved her, and a lot had happened ever since, for example, She and Carmen had been living together in a lovely apartment in New York for 4 and a half years. Just like them, the rest of the gang moved out of west Hollywood, they all just had to get out of there soon as possible, so three months after Angelica was born, Bette and Tina moved to D.C. where Bette had her own little art gallery, and Tina was working with a social institution there. Alice and Dana went off to San Francisco, there they found out that Dana had breast cancer, and that was the last time they all saw each other, when they went to support Dana, and fortunately after a lot of pain and struggle, she got over it, and now she is in an excellent shape, still playing tennis, and also taking care of their two kids, she and Alice adopted a girl and a boy. And everybody’s getting ready to go back to the place that got them together, and that they all miss so much. Dinner was served when Shane arrived home at 9 o’clock, she was always happy to go back to Carmen’s delicious food and kisses. She couldn’t believe how much she had changed, no one would’ve guessed that Shane McCutcheon would be so happy and feel so comfortable in a monogamous long term relation ship, but she was… she was extremely happy.
