Shane was merged in her thoughts when Carmen’s voice brought her out to reality.

            – Alice called; she told me the reason why Bette wants to reunite us. – Said Carmen nonchalantly. 

            – Oh yeah? And what could that be? According to Alice of course.-

            – Bette and Tina just adopted a two year old boy.-

            – What?!!! How did she come up with that? – Said Shane almost chocking

            – She says Angelica told her. – Carmen said smiling

            – Angelica is only five years old. – Shane said, amused.

            – I know, but Alice says that when she called earlier this week, Tina give Angie the phone, and in the middle of all the babbling, Angie said that she has a little brother, and after hearing that from the kid, obviously and being Alice she asked a million questions to Tina when she got the phone back, and that’s when Tina told her everything about it, but asked her not to tell anyone ‘cause it was a surprise. – Finished Carmen.

– Ha! Tina should’ve known better than that. But hey, it’s great, by the time we get there everybody will know they’re secret and we’ll be the ones with the biggest surprise, and they are gonna freak out. – Said Shane with a very big smile on her face.

They talked about how they’re day was for the rest of the night, and went to bed early, ‘cause Shane was tired from work and Carmen’s pregnancy was a bit delicate so they both wanted to rest. Besides they had to get ready for they’re trip, which was in two days from then.

And the next two days were so very very very very long, Shane had a hard time believing it, but finally the night before the flight was here.

            – Are you ready for the big trip? – Carmen asked while piling up some clothes, so she wouldn’t forget to get it into the suit case.

            – Of Course!! I can’t wait to get there, specially ‘cause this will be our last trip before it’s too risky to fly.-

            – Yeah, I know. I pretty excited too, I’m dying to see everyone’s faces when they see that I’m pregnant.-

            – Yeah! I know, they’ll see that MY girlfriend is the most beautiful pregnant woman in the whole wide world.-

            – Well I’m not sure about that, but they’ll be shocked. – Said Carmen smiling.
