The Long and Winding Road — Chapter 16
Tina looked at the note and took in the words – then she looked Helena in the eyes and saw the worry of the Brit.
“No Helena – there is no way that its Henry “
“Who else would hate you and Bette – the woman has been in England for two years “
“It cannot be him – he’s a jackass but he’s not violent “
“You have to do something Tina – you cannot put yourself or Bette at risk “
“Have you called the police ? “
“No – they contacted me about the car. This note is your business Tina – but its also Bette’s “
Tina sat down in shock.
“I know that I hurt him but he would never threaten Bette or the baby “
“Do you really want to take that sort of risk with your wife and son ? “
Tina was startled by Helena’s words – somehow hearing someone else treat them like they were a family had made it all so much more REAL.
“No Helena – I cannot take any risks with either of them – I love them so much “
“So go to the police Tina – I put it straight in a plastic wallet so there might be fingerprints if he’s really stupid “
“I cannot believe what he did to my car “
“Did you have anything valuable in there ? “
“No – I only cleaned it out a couple of weekends ago. God Helena – he knew how much I loved that car “
“He’s shown himself capable of taking away one thing that you love – I know it makes me sound like a drama queen but there is no way you can gamble on him not trying to harm the two most precious things in your life “
“I know — I’ll go to the police now and make a complaint about him “
“Good decision Tina – I’ll take you and I’ll buy you breakfast on the way back and you can tell me what your plans are for keeping Bette in one place – I might have a couple of ideas on that one “

Oh Hell, Henry is one jack ass. He needs to have his head twisted around a few times. I find it a little odd that Mickey does not want to live with daddy dearest but wants to live with Tina and the new baby. I like how you have Helena helping out with her connections. Henry is so in trouble once the police get a hold of his conversation with Tina. I can see Bette and Batwoman and Tina as her side kick Robin. Now that would be a sight for sore eyes.

Today technolony.how can you live with out it. I have five camera aroung my house and they vidio everything. Live in a nice part of town ,but have a lot of junk that to me is good. That Helena is so smart.and Tina pretty brave to go to Henry house. Love this. Micky has a Mom so if Henry goes to jail.Micky will still have a parent to take care of him. thanks
