    Shhh…Don’t tell anyone part. 8

Carmen was very touched by looking at Shane playing like that with the children, she felt quite at ease. And Shane just felt like she had something on her face ‘cuz everyone kept looking at her. It was so very weird yet fantastic, to be all together in one room with all their families. It was so funny to watch Alice and Dana struggling with two kids. That alone was something that had Bette quite amazed, she didn’t think Alice had it in her to be a mom, but she seemed to have taken the role perfectly. And Dana, she was a great parent, the kids loved her. But if there was something that had everyone freaking out was Shane, her change was amazing, she went from not caring for anyone but herself, to living and breathing only for Carmen. Bette was very very happy to see her friends like this, all so well, and happy, and settled.

After breakfast everyone decided to go to the beach, it took a lot of time to get the kids ready, and in the van, but they were finally in the way, kids kept singing and chattering, and the adults were just trying to get them not to jump out the windows or throw candy bars at each other. But otherwise they were actually having fun. When they got to the beach and settled in one place, all the parents started to prepare the children for the sea, while Shane and Carmen just sat back and watch them.

                – Soon we will have to do all that. – Carmen said looking at Shane lovingly.

                – Well not really, I don’t think you can put a new born baby on a swimming suit and a lifesaver and just throw her to the ocean. – Shane said just smiling.

                – Of course not, you now what I meant.-

                – Yes I know honey, I know.-

                – You think she’ll like the ocean?-

                – Umm, I dunno, maybe, or maybe she’ll hate it, we’ll only know when we meet her.-

                – I know, I can’t wait! I want her to look just like you.-

                – Honey that’s genetically impossible.-
