    Bette and Tina face to face…..

    I Wish CH 13

     

    "Tina will be here in about 30 minutes. She was at the studio doing some work, so she will pick Angelica up from here. Is that okay Bette?"

     

    "Yeah, sounds good. This little one is tired. I am sure she is wanting her own bed to sleep in. I guess I am going to have to buy a bunch of that kind of stuff now that I have you back aren’t I Boo?"

    Angelica looked up at her Mama and smiled. She contentedly snuggled into Bette as Bette held her in her arms.

    "Do you want me to take her Baby sis, before Tina gets here?"

     

    "No. No I think I can manage. I am going to have to do this sooner than later right? I mean we are going to have to work out a schedule for visitation and stuff. And I guess we need to get the awkwardness over with and see each other for the first time since all of this happened."

    "You don’t have to do it all at once Bette. I mean, I’m just looking out for you, you know? I don’t want it to be too hard on you is all."

     

    "I know that Kit. And I love you for it. I know you want to protect me. But we have joint custody now, she wouldn’t go back on that. Would she?"

    "No, you are right. She wouldn’t. Not this time. Not again."

     

    "Right. So if you see her before I do, could you just send her out here. We might have a little more privacy this way."

     

    "Sure Baby Sis, anything for you, and your little mini-Bette you got there."

    Laughing Kit went inside, and waited to direct Tina out to Bette.

     

     

    Tina stood just inside the door leading out to the patio and watched the interaction between Bette and Angelica. She could hear the giggles and laughter from both of the mocha skinned beauties from inside, and knew she had made the best decision of her life when she sent the papers to Bette for Angelica’s adoption.

    Tentatively she stepped out onto the patio, and made her way towards Bette and their baby girl.

    1. Thanks for the update. Love this story. Hopefully Bette and Tina can relax with each other, and maybe they’ll get to where they should be, which of course is together.

    4. Thanks for posting…um in this story did Tina & Henry sleep together in the bed? Or against the door? Cause Tina could have said we didn’t do it in the bed…and I don’t want the door… I agree with 99% it will have to get ugly before it gets better. Bette needs to work out her anger before Tina tells her she bought the house that she is running away from and her daughter will be raised there.

    5. They have really got to sit and talk and maybe even scream at each other. Walking on eggshells is not the way to go. I can only guess that Tina wanted to tell Bette that it was she who bought the house. Tina needs to go ahead and buy a new bedroom set and go from there.

    6. Dang…bette didn’t want to listen to Tina thinking what she had to say would upset her and end her day on a bad note but that didn’t stop her from hurting Tina. I’m not loving bette at all…but totally love Tina no matter what she does…hehehe

    7. Julskieg…Bette is just trying to protect herself cause she is healing from the massacre that Tina has heaped upon her over the last few months culminating in taking her daughter away to cohabitate with a man…one tends to go for self preservation after things like that.

    8. Bette was actually being very fair, its their furniture and if she wasn’t taking it, why not offer it to Tina? Bette apologized for something that wasn’t her fault. Tina took it the wrong way. Helena told her about the pity party she’s been throwing, get over it Tina. As for the bed vs door, in this story Tina did use the bed. The old Bette would have tried to get Tina out of the hotel ASAP. This time Bette wasn’t even phased by the comment, she really has let go of any illusions of control or even influence over Tina. Looking forward to the next post.

    10. Thanks for another great chapter! Tina just should have said what she had to say instead of giving Bette a chance to stop her. They need to stop holding back and just let themselves really talk – the only way out of this mess is through it, and the faster the better – kind of like taking off a bandaid! LOL! More please!

    13. it was hard for Tina to listen Bette’s word but she needs to understand that is not easy for Bette this. Bette needs to control her anger and try to work out this cause Tina is willing to do it and they belong together. wonderful chapter
