    I Wish CH14
    Tina was just finishing up packing the last of her and Angelica’s belongings in the hotel room when her cell phone rang.

     

    "Hello?"

     

    "Hey, Tina it’s Kit."

     

    "Hey Kit. Are you ready for me to pick her up already?"

     

    "Well, actually, that was why I was calling. I was hoping that maybe you would let me keep her over night tonight."

     

    "Oh, uh, sure. If you want. Aren’t you helping Bette get settled into her new place though?"

     

    "Nope. She doesn’t want me to help. She’s scared she won’t find anything after I am done. Besides, didn’t you tell me you were busy packing, getting ready to move to your new home tomorrow?"

     

    "Yes I am actually."

     

    "Well see, there you go. This way you can get your stuff done without having to worry about taking care of little miss here. I would love to spoil her for a night. So would her uncle Angus. It’ll be good practice for us."

     

    "Sure Kit. No problem. I can drop off some stuff for her a little later. I am actually going to drop some of our stuff at the house tonight anyway so it’s no problem to drop some things by."

     

    "That would be great Tina. So you bought a house huh? Where about? Is it in Weho? Did you find a place close by?

     

    "Yes. I did actually, a great place became available, and I uh, had to have it. It feels very much like home actually."

     

    "Well, hey why don’t you give me the address and I can drop your little one off to you there tomorrow?"

     

    "Um, that’s okay Kit. I will come and get her. I don’t want to put you out."

     

    "It’s no problem Tina. Not at all."

     

    "No thanks Kit I will come and get her from you."

     

    "Okay. Sorry. So I will give you a call tomorrow once she is awake and ready to go okay?"

     

    "Great, thanks for this, and give her a hug and kiss from me okay?"

     

    "Sure, bye."

     

    After Tina hung up she realized she was going to have to tell Bette sooner than later. They hadn’t seen each other again in person since the first day Tina had picked Angelica up from the Planet. They had been going through Kit as a convenience, and because it was hard on both of them to be in each others presence right now. But Tina knew before she was discovered by anyone, that she had to be up-front with Bette about the house.
