    Everyone laughed at the table except Helena.

    Helena: Thanks mummy.

    The night went smoothly and the next morning Bette and Jill picked Helena up as the drove to the airport and got onto the plane heading back to Los Angeles.

    One the way back to Los Angeles Bette decided to call Tina.

    Tina: Hello?

    Bette: Hey T.

    Tina: Heyy, how are you?

    Bette: I’m great, how about yourself?

    Tina: I’m doing good. So how was New York?

    Bette: I met someone on the way here.

    Tina didn’t mask her surprise.

    Tina: Really? Are you dating?

    Bette: Yeah I think we are. Her name is Jill Kennard.

    There was silence on the other end of the line and Bette feared the worse.

    Tina: My cousin?

    Bette: Yeah.

    Then Bette heard Tina burst into peels of laughter.

    Tina: You cannot be serious! That’s funny!

    Bette shook her head smiling.

    Bette: You aren’t upset?

    Tina: No sweetie. I know we are friends right now, and I don’t mind if you date. I’d rather see you with Jill than some chick I didn’t even know.

    Bette smiled.

    Bette: That’s great T.

    Tina: As a matter of fact I was going to ask you about dating. If you’d be weird if I dated.

    Bette: God no, I wouldn’t be. The reason I’m dating is to make sure that you are for sure the person I want to spend forever with. You know I love you, but I want to make sure I’m IN love with you.

    Tina: Which is completely understandable. I was thinking the same thing. Why do you think I’d be upset?

    Bette: I just thought you may be.

    Tina: You don’t have to worry Bette. I know you, I know us.

    Bette: Will you meet us at the airport?

    3. Okay, maybe I’ll relax a bit, since Tina seems okay with it. Do love how she immediately let Jill know who Bette really belonged to. But I’m not for these two taking too much time and having too many dates before they figure out they should be together.
