Hospital

Papi and Carmen had been in the hospital waiting room for a few minutes waiting for any word on Shane’s condition. Previously they’d just got off the phone with Morgan who was watching Jenny since she had been drinking so much.

Soon after the doctor came out. Carmen and Papi both jumped out of their seat and immediately asked, " How is she, she’s okay right ?! "

" Woah now, take it easy, she is going to be fine. She had some severe bleeding but we have that under control now. She’s also pretty badly brusied, but other than that no broken bones, no life threatening wounds. She’s just very tired, and swollen. " the doctor explained

" Oh, thank you doctor ! Thank you ! Is it okay if I see her ? ", Carmen asked

" Sure, just not too long ; she needs to rest "

" I understand thank you "

The doctor smiled and left Carmen and Papi. Then they both made their way to Shane’s room ; they both stopped right outside the door.

" Let me go first ", Papi said

" Yeah, it’d be best if you went ahead of me ", Carmen agreed

Papi nodded and entered Shane’s room.

Papi entered the room and found Shane had bandages everywhere, and seemed quite tired.

" Heyy man, how you doin ? ", Papi asked

" I’ve been better ", They both laughed

" What you did for Carmen was the nicest thing you’ve ever done for someone "

Shane smiled a little then answered, " I love her "

" WOW, REALLY ?! I HADEN’T NOTICED ?! ", Papi said sarcastically

" Alright fine, you don’t gotta be sarcastic about it ! ", Shane joked

There was a moment of silence before Shane asked, " So how is she ? "

" She’s okay ; a little shoken up, but I think she was more scared for you then herself "

" Really ? "

" Yeah … well anyway I better go, cause I know she wants to talk to you "

" Okay … ", Shane obliged as Papi started walking out the door

" WAIT ! ", Shane called out just before Papi opened the door
