A Day in the Life of Bette and Tina : April 28

A Day in the Life of Bette and Tina : April 28

    Tina’s Journal.

Aye. Where should I begin? This day was nothing short of interesting. So, I’ll just start from the beginning, but before I tell you what happened. I want to say… I miss Bette. She was supposed to return this morning, but her flight was delayed in New York. She’s trying to get the next open flight, but chances are she won’t return until tomorrow night. I miss her touch…. Bette.

So, let’s begin with early morning, today. I had plans to meet with the gang at The Planet. I walk in, and I see Alice, Shane and Dana sipping on their coffee. Before I reach them, though, two girls came running through the sea of people with eggs in their hands, and a target in mind. The eggs caught Shane both in the eyes, and shoulders. Let’s just say Shane was furious, and we’ll leave it there. That’s when I got the phone call from Bette.

Later that afternoon, Alice and I went shopping. Alice is such a sweetheart. She knows how much I was looking forward to having Bette back after two weeks. So, when we found out that Bette wasn’t coming home, Alice wanted to try and cheer me up, and she certainly did! Hehe. We were about to enter the boutique, when a petite, very cute, very exotic, and a very eccentric woman, approach us. She was Alice on again and off again girlfriend. They’ve been off for a while now. That wasn’t the problem, though. It’s what she said that’s the problem. "Alice, we’re pregnant." Alice and I looked at each other trying to process what she had just said. So, I had to say it, "Al, why didn’t you use protection?" Hee. Long stories short, Alice convinced the girl that the baby couldn’t have been hers because they didn’t consummate for more than 30mins each time. We all know, we can’t get pregnant if it’s not longer than 30mins. Crazy Alice. Hee.

Then a couple hours ago, Dana came by with a sore shoulder from practice. I love Dana. She’s like a little sister to me. So, of course, I didn’t want to see her like that. She’s so sweet though. She wanted to make sure if I was okay, and if I needed company. I told her that I’ll be alright, and that she needed to take care of that shoulder of hers. She listened, and promises to be more careful. Then she had to run out. I simply adore that little girl. She’s going to be a superstar, one day, I know it. Well, that’s it for now, because I’m getting tired. I hate going to sleep without Bette beside me, though. Bette needs to come back soon. Until next time….

    xoxo

    Tina

    ———————————————————————–

Later that night, Tina heard a loud thud. She got up from out of her bed, and grabbed the baseball bat in her closet. Someone’s in the house. She was waiting beside her door, and they’re going to get it if they dare come in. Tina sees the door slowly opening itself up, and with her bat ready in hand. She raised it just to drop it when she heard Bette’s voice.

"You’re going to beat me, T?"

"Bette! I’m sorry, I thought we had an intruder. What are you doing here? I thought your flight was delayed until tomorrow?"

"Yes, but I wasn’t going to let that stop me from coming back to you."

    1. Loved the update Red…just wish it was longer…just because I’m so impatient and hate the wait! I know easy to say when you don’t have to write them!

    2. Whew, so glad that it was Bette and not some evil doer. If Bette had not spoke she would be in the hospital because of that bat up side her head syndrome.
