    What’s the matter Porter? Losing your touch?

    The next day …

     

    Bette returns to her office from training all morning.  A few cookies are still there, reminding her of Tina.  She takes out her cell phone to send her a text.  Ok don’t want to come across too strong.  After spending a minute thinking about it, she writes.

     

    The cookies were great, thanks so much.  Enjoyed the visit too.

    – Swimmer1

     

    A few minutes later, she hears her phone sound an incoming text.

     

    Glad you liked them.  It was nice to see you again. –Tina

     

    Oh yeah, she’s interested.  Let’s see how she takes a little flirting.

     

    If I return the plate, can I get a refill?  -Swimmer1

     

    Hmmmmm.  What’s in it for me? –Tina

     

    Oh definitely interested.  Bette thinks a moment.

     

    The chance to see me again. –Swimmer1

     

    A little full of yourself aren’t you? –Tina

     

    Bette’s grin widens at her comment.

     

    I know I’d like to see you again.  Just hoping you felt the same way.

    –Swimmer1

     

    Smooth Porter, very smooth.  Tina types her response.

     

    I think you already know the answer to that. –Tina

     

    I’m working all weekend.  Can we get together for coffee in a few days? –Swimmer1

     

    Sure, call when you’re free. Don’t work too hard.  –Tina

     

    I’ll call.  Count on it. –Swimmer1

     

    Be careful.  -Tina

     

    Tina picks up her phone to call Dana.  She tells her all about the texts.  Dana just laughs at her giddiness.  They make plans to get together.

     

     

     

    Meanwhile Bette is in the final phases of training a new rescue swimmer, Tim.  Tim started out as cocky and arrogant.  They butted heads at first until Bette realized that he reminded her alot of herself when she first started.  Now, they have a fantastic relationship.

     

    Two days later, Bette and all of her co-workers are required to attend the Admiral’s dinner.  They are all dressed to the nines.  After the boring dinner, a group of them decide to go out for a drink.  They head into town to one of the local clubs.

     

    Tim is bragging about his abilities with the ladies.  He bets them that he can take home any girl in the bar.  The group looks around to find the perfect choice.  Shane points to a beautiful blonde at the bar.  “That one right there.”  She gestures to the blonde and all eyes follow.

    4. Love Bette and Tina in any story. Bette won the money had a long evening and early morning with Tina a good hug and a kiss on the cheek I would never was my face. theyboth have bad. thanks Happy New years to you also.

    5. Like this story a lot. Porter has not nor will she ever lose her touch, especially with Tina. Tina is smooth in this one and I that, really like both of them in this story. Equal footing so to speak. Post when you can.

    7. What more could girl want…a sexy woman, $400 bucks, a hug and a kiss on the cheeck….well I guess there is always more to want, but it’s a good start! lol:) PPS

    16. They’re just too cute :) I thought they were going to be awkward when hugging each other but It was very sweet of Bette to just kiss her goodbye on the cheek. Great story ;)
