    Tina, are you okay?

    When Bette came to she was lying on a bed in the hotel suite.  Bette sat up to quickly and became dizzy again.

     

    Babe, lay down and rest right now your okay.

     

    Where’s D?

     

    He’s watching tv in the other room.  You scared him.  Hell you scared both of us!  The hotel got in touch with a physician friend of Peggy’s and they are on their way over.

     

    Bette started to argue but could tell by the look in Tina’s eyes that it was an argument that she would definitely lose.

     

    Tina:  Bette, It’s time that you told me what is going on with you!  Are you sick?

     

    Bette sat up slowly in the bed.  She took Tina’s hand in hers.  She could see that Tina was scared.  Tina, I’m not sick.  Well not in the way that you are thinking.

     

    Tina, I’m pregnant.

     

    Tina: OMG!! 

     

    Bette:  I wasn’t going to tell anyone yet because I am not quite to the third month.  Dane doesn’t even know yet. 

     

    Tina was crying.

     

    Tina got up and walked out of the room.

     

    Bette just sat there at watched as Tina left the room.  She started to get up and go after her but she was still dizzy and afraid to stand. 

     

    After a few minutes Tina came back in. 

     

    Tina, are you okay?

     

    Yes, I am fine Bette.  I just wanted Dane to know that you were awake and that you were okay.  The doctor should be here in a few minutes.

     

    Bette could tell that Tina was not okay.

     

    Tina would you please tell me what’s wrong?

     

    Nothing, Bette.

     

    Tina, please don’t lie to me not now.  Not when we just reconnected please tell me what’s wrong.

     

    I guess that I am just in shock.  I never thought that you would be pregnant again.  It just never occurred to me. At your age is it safe?

     

    Bette:  I’m not that old Tina! 

     

    That’s not what I meant Bette.  Look we just found one another again and I don’t know where we are headed but I do know that I don’t want to lose you.  When you collapsed you have know idea how scared I was.

    10. Wonderful update. Bette had better be still she surely does not want complications with HBPressure that can lead to all sorts of unpleasant things for the mother and child. Could Dane’s name be Dane Christian Kennard Porter and I would gather that Bette already has papers drawn up stating that Tina is his other mother, wouldn’t surprise me at all. Loved the update. PPS
