    Chapter 7

                   I need air right now….Thank god the Jaffe’s are not home! I want to punch Cherie Jaffe on the nose right now so she can never breathe….I mean I always knew she’s a bitch…but this is going way too overboard. First of all Cherie’s sniffing….I mean you can’t expect anything better from her….not only that…She’s not paying for her shit….and last of all she’s blaming it all on Shane…this is disgusting…..

     I never imagined to see Shane like this….with blood on her pillow and all over her white t-shirt…I feel my tears swelling up…and over all of that, I hit her with a softball bat….I want to kill myself…

           I walk back inside the house…and go to Shane’s "room". She’s still lying there unconscious. I sit down on the mattress beside her….and slowly take her face on my hands….and it makes me want to cry out loud…..her beautiful face is now covered with blood and blood stains. One of her eyes is swollen and she’s getting a black eye…while the other one is shut…there’s blood stains down her nose…and her lips busted. I slowly touch her lips with my fingers…I quickly run into my house and get the first aid box and some medicines..and the tylenol. 

     Anna: "what are you doing with all these medicines?"

     Carmen:"we need these for the project"

     and I run out of the house before she could question me anymore. I see Shane’s still in the same position. I try to clean her face of the blood stains. And put some ointments on her cuts in her face. I take her head in my lap and move my fingers through her soft black mane in order to find the concussion….I don’t think it was that bad on the head because she already had her hands covering her head when I hit her so the blow was mainly on the hand…but I see a cut on the skull and I clean it up and bandage it with a gauge. I tend to the cuts and bruises on her hand. Well my dad was a Mayan Medicine man….although I’ve never met him….my mami taught me a lot of medical tricks that she learnt from him.

    1. Okay, at least Carmen went back. I like this chapter. Shane’s in a bad situation, but Carmen’s taking care of her. Very nice. I like that they’re getting a bit closer.
