Chapter 20 

       Carmen:"SHANE YOU’RE DOING DRUGS"  

   Shane:"Its none of your business leave me alone" 

 Carmen:"So you think you can do whatever and get away with it?"

 Shane:"Whatever" and she pushes me back. I take a couple of steps back but gain control. 

 Shane comes close to me and presses me against the wall and whispers in my ear. 

 Shane:"STAY THE FUCK OUT OF MY WAY….don’t bother me!"

 I can feel she breath on my shoulders. 

 Carmen:"Shane you can’t do this to yourself"

 Shane:"Look my parents don’t care what I do…neither do I and now who the hell are you to care..mind your own little business" 

 Enough is enough! I can’t take it anymore! I feel like crying! How am I supposed to just stand and see Shane going down and down on the road….I saw how hard it was for Juan and Shane has already been through that road…I can’t believe she’s doing it again! but who am I to tell her!

 Carmen:"Shane w-who did this to you? "

 Shane:"You did"

 Carmen:"Fuck you"

 Shane:"As if I care" 

 and she walks away and joins Cherie to the parking lot. I don’t know what to think anymore! Today my heart broke! and I can’t help my tears anymore! I hear the announcement that the food is there in the main office waiting to be paid. I quickly wash up and go back to get the food. 

  I lie down in my bed and think! What was I thinking to love Shane! She doesn’t even care about me nor does she wants me to care about her! She’s just a dickhead! I am pretty sure that Cherie is some how behind this! But I am mean she doesn’t even have a personality to stand up against Cherie! 

  I go to school tomorrow just to know that there’s a huge birthday party for Cherie on her beach house and basically the whole school is invited! I have no interest in going to that bitch’s party and see Shane acting like her ‘pussy cat’ its disgusting!

 Alice:"So Carmen are you coming to Cherie’s party?"

 Carmen:"NO"

 Alice:"What you can’t do that to me! I sooooooooo wanna go ! "

 Carmen:"Then you go"

 Alice:"But we can’t go if you don’t go"

 Carmen:"What kinda reason is that?"

 Alice:"You know how it is !!!! Please ! I thought you value friendship more that your enemy-hood with Cherie"

 Well there we go! Al and her emo-blackmails!

 Carmen:"You’re just too much Al! Okay I will go"
