Tina: You’re lyer! You lyer! You lyer!

Joanna cried out: Please I’m sorry.

Tina started throwing things around the house.

Marie woke up in a panic from all of the noise. She wandered what was happening.

    _____________________________________________________________

That night when Tina got home she told Bette what she had found out.

Bette and Tina were lying in bed. Tina was lying on Bette’s chest. Bette was stroking Tina’s hair.

“How could they keep something so important away from me,” Tina cried.

Tina: My own flesh and blood.

Bette was somewhat lost for words.

“I don’t know baby,” Bette said as she continued to stroke Tina’s hair.

Tina: Well I hate their guts and I’m never going to speak to them again.

Bette: Baby, you have to… they’re your parents.

Tina looking up at Bette: How do I know that Bette! They lied about everything else. They could be lying about that to!

Bette just remained silent and listen to Tina for the remainder of the night. Tina cried some and got angry some but she also decided that night that no matter what she was going to find her sisters.

When Bette looked into Tina’s eyes she saw something she hadn’t seen before. Strong determination. She knew then nothing would stop Tina from finding her sisters.

Four months later. Bette was now showing. She stilled worked but less hours at Tina’s strong request. Tina still worked full time and in her spare time searched Plutara for her sisters. One of Bette’s trusted friends Dana assisted Tina with searching. Tina expected searching for her sisters to be easy but it was turned out to be a big mission to say the least. Plutara was a big planet. Almost twice the size of earth. Also Tina didn’t grow up on Plutara. Consequently she received some resistance from the people on Plutara.

“Dana this is like the tenth house we went to today. Noone is acting like they know my aunt or sisters. What are we doing wrong,” Tina said throwing her hands up in the air and then back down.

Dana: Believe me eventually people will start talking. We just need to keep trying.

Tina: What if we keep trying and still noone talks. Besides my mother Joanna was not sure if her sister left Plutara with my sisters or stayed.

Dana: Hard to tell during that time people were pretty hostile toward Plutarians breeding with foreigners. Halve-breeds wouldn’t have been accepted except in certain small circles.

Tina: So do you think my mother’s sister and my sisters could be living in a protected society.

Dana: I don’t think their lives are still in danger so there would be no reason to hide.

Tina: Yes but they could have bonded with this protected society and decided to stay hidden. Also some old fashion Plutarians still look at me as if I’m not welcome.

Dana: Well you know just like in all societies there will always be some who hold on to old ideas. Let’s just hope that word gets out there and they contact us or we find a lead.

Later that night Tina went home and she and Bette discussed she and Dana’s progress.

Tina (snuggling up to Bette): Bee I just don’t know. Everyone seems unwilling to talk to us.

“Sweetie I’m sure someone will come forward,” Bette said stroking Tina’s arm.
