The group found a table toward the back of the room with an unobstructed view of the stage. Ashley didn’t go on for a few more minutes and Spencer was having a very hard time remaining patient. Madison spotted Aiden at the bar and she made a beeline to the beautiful boy.

Lyla was about to speak when a young woman clad in a tight leather jumpsuit approached her. Her hair was bright blonde and framed her face perfectly. If it werenÕt for the leather outfit and blood red lipstick she would have resembled an angel. She bent down and took Lyla’s hand, surprising everyone at the table. She opened her mouth and a soft sweet voice carried across the room. Again, not what the girls had expected.

Vanessa: Hey, I’m Vanessa and I would like you dance with me.

Lyla couldn’t help the blush that spread across her face.

She stood up without even realizing it and began to follow the woman.

Spencer: Lyla!

Lyla spun around to smile at her friend.

Spencer: What are you doing?

Lyla: Um, IÕm going to dance with this lovely lady.

Vanessa smiled a wicked smile.

Spencer: You aren’t even gay.

Lyla shrugged.

Vanessa: You don’t have to be gay to play darling.

Spencer was taken back a bit.

Lyla: Yeah Spence. We are just dancing. It’s not like I’m going home with her.

Vanessa smirked and grabbed Lyla closer.

Vanessa: We’ll see about that.

Before Spencer could respond Lyla was pulled further onto the dance floor and disappeared.

Chelsea: Well, that was…umm…interesting…

Spencer’s jaw was still on the table.

Spencer: How does she do that?

Chelsea: That girl has more self-confidence than any single person should have.

Spencer tilted her head, trying to find her friend.

Spencer: Is that her?

Chelsea stood to peer over heads and found Lyla grinding her body fiercely against the gorgeous woman in leather.

Chelsea sat back down her eyes wide.

Chelsea: Yup, that’s her.

Ashley: That’s who?

Chelsea and Spencer spun to find Ashley standing behind them. He hair cascaded down her shoulders in full curls and her eyes were outlined in a dark black making every look she gave seductive. Her lips were covered in a thin veil of gloss that had Spencer’s heart racing. And she wore a short denim skirt and torn black tank top.

Spencer swallowed loudly.

Chelsea noticed Spencer starring and tried to help her out by answering Ashley’s question.

Chelsea: Lyla is dancing with some girl over there.

Ashley smiled.

Ashley: That isnÕt dancing. She is practically having sex with her.

Spencer finally came out of her state of shock and joined the conversation a little too late.

Spencer: Hi Ashley.

Ashley smiled at her, a smile that could melt her heart.

Ashley: Hi, Spence.

The two were rooted in silence for seconds that seemed like an eternity. Chelsea watched in awe at the power of wanting that flowed through the two women beside her.

Mark: Ash?

Ashley didn’t move.

Mark: You’re on kid.

Nothing.

Mark: Are you going on or not? I don’t have time for this.

Spencer broke the intense moment.

Smiling, she turned to the club manager.

Spencer: She is definitely going on.

Ashley bit her lip at the deep husky sound of Spencer’s voice.

Ashley: Yeah, I am.

Ashley began to walk toward the stage but looked back once more at the gorgeous woman who was there only to see her.
