    “mommy are we saying bye to Ashley?” Erin asked me and we drove down Ashley’s street

    “of course E…” I told her then we pulled up “…ok go run to the door…” I told her and she jumped out of the car running to Ashley’s front door and Ashley opened it

    “hey you…” Ashley said giving Erin a hug and Erin started to cry “aw E…don’t cry…”

    “but I wont see you for so long…” she said in tears

    “you know what? I think you’re wrong…and I think I will see you very soon…” she told Erin and I just hoped she’d be right then I walked up to Ashley and she stood back up to talk to me “are you ok?” she asked me

    “yeah…I just don’t know if I really want to go back…”

    “well…if it helps…I don’t want you to go back either…” she told me

    “how is that supposed to help?” I asked laughing a little at her

    “hey I’m trying…” she told me “…hey Erin…I have a present for you…up in my room, there’s a big box…want to go get it?” she asked Erin

    “yes!” Erin said running into the house

    “you really get her something?” I asked Ashley

    “of course…” she replied smiling at me then she leaned into me and kissed me letting it linger “…and I wanted to do that…” she said “…so am I going to see you guys soon?”

    “how soon do you want to see us again?” I asked her

    “like tomorrow” she said making me laugh

    “well…I don’t know…”

    “you don’t know about what?” she asked

    “this whole thing with Nicole…I mean being out here and with you seems so easy…but when I go back, having the feeling of being with her again is going to be a little surreal…”

    “so…sorry but I’m being a little skeptic now…” she admitted

    “don’t be…you’ll see us…I promise” I told her “…and there’s nothing stopping you from coming out to New York…or calling me…” I added then Erin came back down

    “got it!” she said with her cute little face behind the box

    “are you going to open it? Or you want me to?” Ashley asked her
