“hey spence…it’s Mel…”

“Mel! Hey what’s up? How are you?” I asked since I hadn’t heard her from her in a while

“I have been so busy it’s unreal…what about you? How’s Ohio?” she asked

“ugh same as how I left it!” I said laughing “…I just miss Ash a lot…”

“oh I just saw her when I went to stop over Aiden’s…” she told me

“you saw hr at Aidens?” I asked curious

“uh yeah…they were playing basketball or something…just messing around as usual…you know, being Ashley and Aiden…laughing about things no one will ever understand” she said laughing then I put on my fake laugh

“yeah…but hey I have to go register for classes…so I’ll talk to you some other time…” I told her not wanting to hear more about Ashley and Aiden

“oh…ok have fun with that…bye spence”

“bye…” I said hanging up the phone then I went down to class registry

“spence!” my roommate Amanda yelled across the walkway

“Amanda! Hey!” I said as she ran over to me through the huge crowd of people

“are you completely lost or is it just me?” she said laughing

“you are defiantly not the only one…” I added walking over to a table and stood behind a girl writing her name down and it read ‘Carmen’

“Carmen?” I asked then she looked up at me

“Spencer! Hey…” she said giving me a hug and I returned the favor

“what are you doing out in Ohio?”

“uh believe it or not…I did manage to pull a few strings and get into college…” she said using her sarcasm I hadn’t heard in about eight months “…what about you? Tired of LA city life already?” she asked making me laugh a little

“no I actually already miss it, but OSU is kinda my dream school…” I told her then I noticed Amanda next to me “oh shit…I’m sorry, Amanda this is Carmen, Carmen and I dated a few months ago, but it just…didn’t seem to work out…” I said looking at Carmen then she nodded

“but hey! Why not be friends again?” Carmen said

“oh Carmen you should come hang out with us tonight!” Amanda said
