Paula: “Are you sure Spence.”

Spencer: “Yeah mom, I am, I took the test twice just to be sure.”

Christine: “I don’t understand Spencer, if that what you wanted to tell you’re why did you ask me and Raief to be here, I’m sure Ashley could have told us.

Ashley: “That’s the other thing we needed you all here because Spencer decided that she would keep the baby and the both of us are going to raise together.”  Everyone was quiet for a while.

Paula: “What; Spencer have you given this any thought about what keeping this baby mean?”

Spencer: “Yeah mom I have, and I can’t imagine giving up this baby to someone else and spending the rest of my life wondering if he or she is ok.  Not knowing if I made the right decision for him or her or made the right decision for myself.”

Paula: “But what about your future, about college are just going to give that up?”

Spencer: “No mom I won’t Ashley and I will find away to do both.”

Paula: “And what happens when the baby is old enough to understand that two women can’t make a baby what will you do then?”

Spencer: “Mom we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it ok”.

Christine: “And Ashley, are you sure you can handle this help take care of Spencer and the baby?”

Ashley: “Yeah mom I do, I mean I’ve always wanted a family with Spencer it’s just happening sooner than I expected.” She said looking at Spencer and then she looked back to their parents and continuing.  “And we were kind of hoping that you guys were going to help us out, since well the baby will be your grandchild after all.”  She looked at both her parents as well as Spencer’s.  Christine let out looking at her husband and then back at Arthur and Paula who all shook their heads.

Christine: “Well I guess we are going to be grandparents in our young age, congratulations girls.”  They all got up and embraced the girl all expect Paula who still had a sad look on her face.   Spencer noticing the look on her faced and went over to her mom.

Spencer: “Mom are you ok, I now it’s a lot to take in, but Ashley and I thought this through and we want this I would if you were happy for me.”

Paula: “I want to Spence, but it hard for me too knowing the circumstances that this baby was conceived.”

Spencer: “I know mom, when I first found out I felt the way, but this isn’t Aiden’s baby mom, it’s mine and Ashley’s, he may have played a part in conceiving it, but it’s not his.”  She said looking at her mother.  “And right now I need you more than ever mom, so can you please be there for me please.”  Paula smiled and then held her daughter in a warm embrace.

Paula: “Of course I will help you through this Spence, OMG; I can’t believe I’m going to be a grandmother.” 

Later that night Spencer and Ashley were in bed, Spencer was already asleep and Ashley was watching her sleep.  She still could believe that in a few short months she and Spencer were going to parents.  She meat what she said to her mom she wanted to marry and have a family with Spencer, so it was going her she planned it, but it was still happening and she was happy.  She placed her hand on Spencer tummy and smile before finally falling asleep, hoping that their happiness could last forever, and it will hopefully.

NEXT CHAPTER

1 month later its Christmas time and Ashley has the perfect present for Spencer let just hope she accepts it and the girls get a surprise when they go to have an ultra sound.

This isn’t one of my best chapters so please be very gentle and I know it’s been long and I’m sorry; It just since that last time I posted I found out about two show from Spain that are really great Los Hombres De Paco and Hospital Central and I go t hook. I know that no reason for abandoning my story and again I’m sorry,  but have no fear I am back and will start posting the other two stories  as well as finishing this one really soon.
