?????: “It’s nice to see you didn’t miss curfew.”  Spencer stopped dead in her tracks and turned only to be meet by her mother.

Spencer: “Mom what are you doing up so early?”

Paula: “I got a call to go in at the hospital for an early shift, but that’s not the point why are you just coming in?”  Spence froze she knew she couldn’t tell her mom the truth that she stole the keys to their beach house and she and Ashley had made love all night not once, but twice so she said the only thing that she could of thing of.

Spencer: “You see mom me Ashley went to the beach and it was such a beautiful night and well we kinda fell asleep on the beach.”  She said hoping her mom didn’t know that she was lying.

Paula: “So that why Mr., Stevenson called and wanted to know what time my daughter and her girlfriend would be using the beach house.”  Spencer looked at her mom with her eyes widen.  Her mother knew all along, but in typical, Paula fashion she always asked questions that she already knew the answer too.

Spencer:  “Ok fine Ashley and I were at the beach house, but you what I don’t care if you grounded me for a week, a month even a year nothing will let me regret what happen between me and Ashley last night.  I had one of the best nights of my life and nothing and no one can make any different ok mom.”  Spencer looked at her mother and her mother looked back at her in awe Spencer was never one to answer back, but for some reason she did.  Spencer expected her mother to rant and rave and forbid her from seeing Ashley, but to her surprise all her mother did was give her a huge and kissed on her cheek.  Spencer was left with her mouth open as her mother walked out the door.  “That was so not my mom” Just as she was walking up the stairs she heard the door the open and she looked back.

Paula: “Oh and the way Spencer you’re grounded for a week not for staying out, but for lying to me.”  Spencer laughed climbed the stairs to her room.
