– spencer smiled at me and then the both of us started to walk again and this time we kept quiet once again and then I got brave and I grabbed Spencer’s hand and I held it and she did not pull her hand away and she just looked at me and smiled and we held hands all the way to the field that the dirt road leads out to and we walked across it to the little pond and we sat by the tree together and she leaned up against me and I wrapped my arms around her and held her and then I kissed her cheek and rested my head on hers-
