    Ashley makes a decision

    Back in LA, Ashley had been in her room for awhile strumming her guitar and trying to think of a song that she could dedicate to Spencer. Spencer the love of her life, one she tried not to fall in love with but failed. She knew that she had to confess her love when she arrived back into town next week. The last couple of months were very frustrating only hearing the sweetness in Spencer’s voice and not able to touch her the way she wanted to. Ashley decided to turn on her iPod and listen to some of her favorite music to get inspiration for the song to Spencer.

                    Lyrics of a song from years ago popped into Ashley’s mind.

                                                    Last night I waved goodbye

                                                    Now it seems years

                                                    I’m back in the city

                                                    Where nothing is clear…..

                    She felt a warming in her heart and she knew she had to tell Spencer the truth, and she had to do it sooner than next week. She picked up the phone and called the airport and booked the next flight to Chicago, she had to see Spencer and now was the time.

                    Three hours later Ashley boarded a plane to Chicago and after being on there for an hour she picked up her laptop and sent a instant message to Spencer’s phone,

     

                                                    O’Hare 5am American Flight 1179 from LA Gate A5

                                 Love, Ash

                   

                    Ashley took in a deep breath and pushed the enter button. In what it felt like an eternity a message appeared from Spencer and it read,

                                 Luv u 2, Spence

     

              Ashley almost fainted from holding in her breath and as she read the message she let it go. She knew she had to tell Spencer that she loved more than as a friend but as someone to spend her life with. This trip, out of the blue, would be difficult to explain if she didn’t tell Spencer. The time was right and it was now.
