“I know,” Arthur replied quickly. His eyes were tired, as if the fire inside them had been extinguished. “Do they have any idea who did this?”
“The authorities are talking to your daughter right now—“
“And Ashley? Where’s she?”
“Ashley?…” Dr. Thomson scanned his clipboard, “Ashley Davies, her fiancée, she’s in Ms. Carlin’s room talking to the authorities as well.”
“Excuse me, her what?”
“Casey Taylor.” Ashley spat, feeling the bile in her stomach rise again.
The man in the cops uniform made a note, “T-A”
“Y-L-O-R. Taylor.” Ashley finished, her voice low. Spencer was silent, as she had been for much of the past two hours. Her head was wrapped in thick white gauze and her arms, where Casey had restrained her, were covered in a smelly pink ointment. Ashley and the portly cop sat on either side of her.
“Does Ms. Taylor have a past of violent behavior?”
“No.” Ashley replied dryly.
“Any known mental illnesses?”
“She’s bipolar.” Spencer turned her head to look at Ashley, “She’s fine when she’s on her meds.” Ashley continued quickly, feeling the bile rise again.
“Has she been taking her—“
“YES! GOD, YES! YOU THINK I’D LET SOME PYSCHO NEAR MY GIRLFRIEND!?” Ashley yelled, leaning towards the large man feet away from her.
“Ash…” Spencer whispered, her voice hoarse.
Ashley wordlessly reclined back into her seat and began rubbing her temple anxiously.
“No, I’m not implying that at all, Ms. Davies. It just seems…” He paused, “It seems, according to your record, that you don’t have the..best history of making the right choices. I’m only asking if there’s something you might’ve missed, maybe a subtlety that you overlooked.”
Ashley narrowed her eyes and gripped the arms of the chair she was sitting in tightly as if they were the only things pr. “Excuse me?” she said slowly.
“Maybe we should continue this later,” The cop stated as she stood up, tucking his small notebook into his back pocket.

I can’t believe that Ashley is going to kick Casey’s ASS. now Casey should see what will happen to her if she ever, ever touched Spencer again. I just hope that Ashley doesn’t do too much because if she did kill Casey, she would be put into jail for murder and not be able to be with Spencer. I just hope that ashley just hurts her enough so that she can see the pain she has cause for Spencer and Ashley. Great chapter and can’t wait to see the next chapter.
this series has me totally gripped… I cant take it….. I’v become obsessed, I actually check the sight often to see of there any new posts….. please keep this going, it’ll be nice to see Spashley happy, and engaged… how will the Carlin clan react??

Oh yeah, I hope that the Carlin clan will accept that Ashley and Spencer are engaged, but I hope that Spencer and Ashley will not break it off.
Wow….I’m not into killing…but a good ass kicking and A LOT of suffering Casey deserves. But please don’t let Ashley get into trouble by doing this…Spencer needs her right now…Ashley in jail does no good.
I’ve got borderline personality disorder with bipolar tendencies, but I wouldn’t do anything that crazy… though I don’t have it that bad. Wow. ANYWAY, at this moment I kind of want Ashley to kick Casey’s ass. Though, I don’t like the fact that it took Spencer getting mad at her, for her to go do it. Casey seemed like she was regreting it pretty badly, like she couldn’t believe that she had it in her to do that. Well, love it!
Ashley is gonna go off on the bitch. Hopefully Aiden will stop her before she actually kills Casey. No one wants to see Ashley in a jail cell. I loved Arthur reaction when the dude said fiancee. That is gonna be huge dispute over that sooner or later. post more soon.

Dayuuum. Ok, first I think its wrong for Spencer to blame Ashley, its not her fault. I understand what Spencer is going just being raped and everything, but its not Ashley fault. And its not really like Ashley should just disclose someone else’s mental health, even if it is Spencer, Casey WAS her best friend. Especially if nothing like that has happened. Ashley wasn’t just suppose to say “Oh, Casey is bipolar” over casual conversation. And even if you are bipolar and you go off your meds, that doesn’t automatically transfer to being all rape-y. Now Ashley is gonna go on an emotional tailspin with her misplaced guilt *exhales*. I am so glad that Ashley caught Casey before she made a run for it. Sock that bitch, right in her face. God, I am so ready for blood, Ash needs to beat her to within an inch of her life, and then she needs to go to jail. I can’t wait for the next update. Great job.
