I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my body. When the bathroom door suddenly bust open, “Spencer you’re back!”, Kyla said throwing her arms around me. My eyes went wide and my body was limb for a moment before I hugged her back. I laughed a bit, pulling back to smack her on the arm. “Ky, what the hell? What if I’d been naked?!”, I said quirking an eyebrow. Realization suddenly spread across her face as she looked down at the towel I was wearing, she smirked, “Then I would’ve gotten to see the piercings you “say” you have!”, and yes she used the finger quotation marks too. I laughed, smacking her again, “You will never know for sure, my dear roomie! I laughed as she scoffed loud. “Oh damn! Well, anyway I was hoping you’d be back there’s something I wanna show you.”, Kyla looked serious so I knew not to ask questions as I followed her out of the bathroom. She went over to her desk, “Sit.” So, I sat down in front of her laptop. She went online and logged onto her email account, clicking on an attachment that was with one of them. I looked over at her confused as I heard a voice I didn’t recognize then..I heard her before I saw her beautiful face…Ashley appeared on the computer screen. “Just watch Spence.” I nodded and turned back to the screen. I watched as Ashley sat down on a stool with her acoustic guitar and heard the voice tell her to play whenever she was ready. It was what I heard next, very softly Ashley whispered, “For Spencer” I gasped and turned glancing at Kyla who gave me a smile before my eyes went back to the screen. I heard the sound of her guitar, then her velvety voice filled the room….
