Baby Dyke Day at the Slopes – (Chapter: Two)

“Hey, Ash, come and play with us?  We can partner up and kick Mike and Jordan’s ass,” Aiden shouted across the bar.

“So, you’re a pool shark, huh?”

“Uh?” I turned to my right and saw Spencer standing next to me.  Apparently I had lost track of people coming through the door and she had snuck up on me.  “I, uh…” I turned back towards Aiden.  “Hey, maybe later,” I shouted over the music.

“Sorry,” I said as I turned back to the blonde.  I could feel my face turning pink – well, definitely pink, hopefully not red.  “Can I get you something to drink?”

“Sure, whatever you’re having.”  Spencer smiled.  At me.  I felt the warmth in my body growing.

Todd came over with my beer and I asked him for another one, introducing him to Spencer.

“So, uh, your brothers?  Are they here?”

“Oh, yeah,” Spencer said, head bobbing as she talked.  It was adorable.  She pointed to two guys at the other end of the bar, one blonde, curly-haired and the other was a black guy, head neatly shaven, of the same age.

I tried to hide my confusion, but apparently it showed through.

“That’s Glenn and Clay.  My family adopted Clay when I was five.  They’re the same age and both juniors at UCLA.”

“I bet they’re excited about the whole family moving out to LA, huh?”

    Spencer giggled.  “Yeah, ecstatic.”

Todd came back with Spencer’s beer, and as we walked over to a high-top table, I hung back slightly so that I could finally take a good look at my blonde companion.  She had already put her jacket and any other outer clothing in the coat room and had loosened her plum and red knitted scarf.  A simple black tee that clung to her in all the right spots hung down to mid-pocket of her jeans, so I couldn’t tell what brand the jeans were, but they definitely made her ass look great.  She had black boots on, as I did, but they were flat.  But all of this told me nothing – straight, gay, bi?  She looked great and I still had no idea if I even had a shot.  Well, of course I had a shot, I always did.  Just how far did I need to up my game though?
