‘There ya go, I’ve got ya back Spence,’ she reassured me as she pushed the doors open and we went to face the firing squad.
I knew she meant it with every breath she took. I was now feeling very guilty for shitting on my friends earlier, especially Addison. The gym opened up before me and I put the thoughts aside for now.

Well that could have been worse,’ I smiled at my trusty companion as Madison laughed at me. It felt good to have forgotten about my bad mood for a while.
I’d agreed to take a back seat and take more of a management role until they could choose the next head. I was simply there to look good and back up decisions when needed. I would have to cheer at the games though, that was something I wasn’t able to get out of. It was going to take a huge chunk out of my spare time. It looked like I’d have to quit track but I’d see what my coach could swing with the Principle, I think the track team needed me more!
‘Yeah I think you’ve won most of them over Spence,’ another chuckle followed as my friend walked with me as we left the gym
I’d ditched the mood and had found most of the girls pleasant enough if a tad curious about me. At least it hadn’t been outright war!
‘Umm, we’ll see. First impressions aren’t everything,’ I conceded with a shrug as we made our way back to the locker rooms.
‘Yeah but Spence, they all like you, I mean really like you.’ Maddy enthused as she re-tied her pony.
‘Until I start having to kick some ass,’ I growled, I really wasn’t looking forward to the responsibility.
‘We’ll see,’ Madison just snorted. ‘I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised Spence. You’ve made some new fans today babe.’

I wasn’t kidding, she’d totally owned those girls today. I think she’d left even the straight girls questioning themselves! She’d walked in and turned on the charm. Any animosity had just disappeared in the face of her total self-confidence as Spencer had been, well Spencer!
I chuckled to myself, what I hadn’t told her was that a few of the girls had been tightly in the closet under Stephanie’s reign of terror, myself included. Now that she was gone and my connection to Spencer was known a lot of them had come forward to thank me. They were only too happy to be ‘under’ her so to speak! I could see my friend getting a few new offers from the girls on the squad, quite a few of them were seniors too. Hell yeah! Of course they were hotties! To been truthful, Kyla’s little jealous outburst yesterday had been based on one such invitation I had received. Yes! Of course I’d told her, why do you think she was so pissed?
‘Shit, Mads,’ Spencer recalled my attention as she bashed the heel of her hand against her forehead. ‘I’ve left my bag in the gym.’
‘Kay, I’ll see you in the locker room Spence.’ I nodded at my friend as she headed back to the gym. She could be so dumb sometimes, it was adorable.

I pushed the door open and glanced around for my bag. Just then a movement caught my eye. Spinning round I watched as a body came flying towards me in a blur of handsprings. The lithe body came to a panting stop inches from where I was standing.
My eyes travelled up from the bare feet, over the black cargo pants, across an incredibly toned sweat sheened stomach, up to deliciously proportioned breasts hidden under a black sports bra then strong neck and delicate jaw.
I swear my heart had stopped beating. I was captivated by the soul deep brown eyes looking back at me.

I never read this in the beginning because I adore Ashley and this story was… sans Ashley for awhile. I read this one and then read all the others and… I was like drooling, damn this story is hot. No… thats like an understatement. I cant describe its sheer hotness right now, my brains kind of on the floor right now… Post more, like… five minutes ago! :D
