Broken – (Chapter: Chapter 2)
Chapter 2
Downtown San Francisco, a place of wonder and amazement for some, a place of battle for others. Now that the Underworld has been taken above ground, many things have changed in the fight against evil. The new source of all evil was, Andreas, nothing more than your average Warlock thirty years ago. But since he ascended to the throne, he has reformed the Underworld like no other has before, instead of skulking around in the underworld he moved the never ending battle, up into the mortal world. First by taking over huge banking companies on a global scale, the demons control 60% in the world stock market, with the mortals completely unknown to the fact. Both good and evil have taken their battles away from brawls and into a complex wave of financial and psychological battles. Now that the power of three has left the charmed ones due to Prue being brought back from the heavens, the underworld thought that they had the upper hand. Sending a wave of demons to attack the Manor, Andreas sat waiting until the good news came back, but something happened that he did not expect. The heads of every demon were sent back to him, aswell as an exploding potion which blew his pent house to pieces, and also took a chunk out of his left arm. That wound never fully healed. This was when Andreas knew that the Halliwell family were still a force to be reckoned with, and it was War all over again.
A tall man with dark hair, and a slight moustache was sat in an office atop one of San Francisco’s tallest buildings. He was gazing out of the window and looking down at all the people below, all the cars whizzing past, and people scuttering around like mice, he smirked. “Mortals, pfft” he spat still glaring at them below. Then from behind him a strange sound like rippling of water came, and the air contorted into a purple shade. Stepping out of the contort came a dark skinned woman, dressed in a long black dress with short dark hair, she smiled and bowed here head down. “ You called for me, sire” she said softly looking at the man. Who in turn smiled and nodded his head, “ Yes I did Maxime, I want you use your powers and tell me what their next move is, I am getting impatient of waiting for an improvement in our attempts to break the Halliwell’s once and for all” he snapped at her. She rolled her eyes the walked closer towards him and sat on a smooth couch that was next to his desk. “ Andreas, I have told you many a time, I cannot tell you what there next move is. Trust me I would love to be able to, that would solve all of our problems, but I just cant. Yes I can see almost anything else you ask of me, but not of what that absurd family do, my gift does not stretch that far.” she said playing with her hair, not taking her gaze away from his eyes. “ I made you my Seer for a good reason remember, because you are the best, so go now, and find me out some useful information we need to rock their foundations” he said dismissing her. Then in that same purple haze she vanished, almost as if she had never been there in the first place. The source of all evil tapped at his fingers, and sighed, something was stirring.
