    *NEW WRITER* Spencer has a private session with Ashley, and we all know how those go ;P

    I don’t have a crush.  I sooo don’t have a crush. I won’t have a crush…I can’t have a crush!

     

    Even though I don’t exactly like being called a player, per se, I do have a reputation to uphold.

     

    For the entire day I can’t help but feel apprehension for gym.  Today I might have a ‘private meeting’ with her, which makes me excited.

     

    …

     

    “Hey, they aren’t my rules, they’re the school’s.  Heck, if it was up to me we would take gym naked!”

     

    Glen’s friends start to clap and cheer furiously.

     

    Her face turns red from anger, but she keeps her cool and ignores them.

     

    “Let’s get started, shall we?”

     

    Ms. Davies told us to sit on our attendance rows while she called people in to talk.  We were allowed to talk quietly until she was done.  As I sat waiting for my turn, Aiden glanced back at me and said:

     

    “I cannot wait to get to talk with her privately. Mmm…”

     

    Every fiber in my body urged me to scream “Back off! She’s mine!” but I resisted. Instead, I just turned around to talk to Madison, but then I remember that we aren’t exactly on speaking terms, so I just rest my chin on my knees and wait patiently.

     

    There were five people ahead of me.  All the A’s had already gone and we weren’t even ten minutes into the class yet.

     

    Bailey, Brown, and Cargee. Then I’m in!

     

    It was an agonizingly slow wait until Cara Cargee came back, even though it was only about five minutes for her return, so I asked Justin Brown what they talked about while they were in there.

     

    “Nothing too spectacular, just gym in general. A little bit about me and a little bit about her. Nothing too personal, though.”

     

     About a minute later, I felt someone tap me on my shoulder. It was Cara.

     

    “Spencer? It’s your turn.”

     

     

     

     

     

    I tried not to run to her office door, but it didn’t exactly work out as planned.

     

    Taking a deep breath, I knock on the door.

     

    “Come on in,” she invites, before eyeing me with a curious look. “Don’t I know you from somewhere?” she asks as I walk in.
