Different Lives – (Chapter: First Date)

A: (I can not think of a thing to wear.  I don’t want to look too sexy or too frumpy.  I just want her to like me first.  This is not a date, I must repeat this over and over again in my head, not a date.  Although it is not a date I still need to look good.  Okay, this looks good, time to go)

A: (ringing to door bell) Hello (wow, I thought that I looked good, but Spencer, wow)

S: (Oh no she is her) Hello (wow, she looks so good, I’m straight, I’m straight and I have a boyfriend)  Oh, I am sorry, where are my manner, come in.  I am almost ready, just have a seat.

A:  (looking at pictures in Spencer’s apartment)  so, is this your family.

S:  Yes, I have two brothers and my parents.  They live in Ohio.

A:  (looking at another picture of a handsome man)  so, is this your boyfriend.

S: (damn did she have to find that picture) Yes, that is Dylan, we have been seeing each other for 2 years.

A:  So, doesn’t he live with you.

S:  No he moved out about 2 months ago, I needed my space, I’m ready.

A:  Great lets go. (The comment about them not living together made Ashley courious about Spencer’s dating situation)

S:  So do you have a boyfriend?

A:  No, I have my hands full with Piper right now.

S:  Well, you’re a gorgeous woman, I am surprised you aren’t seeing someone. (Did I just say that out loud)

A:  Well, thank you for the compliment, but I just haven’t found the right woman at this time. (I hope that she catches on to the woman part.)

S: (Did she just say woman, so does that mean that she is gay, I’m straight, I’m straight) so, does that mean…

    A:  Mean what?

    S:  That you are gay?

A:  Well, I am not into labels.

    S:  Oh

A:  But, I am not looking to hook up with any men anytime soon.

S:  (I’m straight and I have Dylan, or am I)  so, can I ask you something?

A:  Sure go right ahead.  ( I don’t know what it is about this woman, but I can not lie to her)
