[So I was thinking u me dinner 2nite at 6?] I text to her. I look up to see her open her phone and read the message with a smile.

     [Thatd b gr8 Ash]

     [So is tht a yes?]

     [Ya thts a yes]

     School just got out and I’m looking around for Spencer, so far no luck.

     "Hey Ash can you give me a ride?" I hear someone say, I turn around to see my sister walking towards me.

     "What happend to Casey always giving you a ride home?" I ask. Casey is one of our good friends, he’s been around since we were all little and Kyla has always had a crush on him. When we were 8 she would run around the house saying she would marry him, and when you bring it up she denies the whole thing.

     "He has baseball practice, so he can’t." She says.

     "Alright fine just go wait in the car, I’ll be there in a sec." I tell her while handing her my keys.

     "What do you-"

     "Just go in the car Kyla." I push her to move towards the vehicle.

     "Alrigh, alright!" She says walking away. Finally I spot Spencer walking to her car.

     "Hey cutie." I say and she turns around smiling.

     "Hey Ash."

     "Hey.. So um are you still up for dinner with me tonight?" I ask.

     "Of course." She says giving me a warm smile.

     "Great, so I’ll pick you up around six okay."

     "Okay I’ll be ready."

     "Awesome." I say then lean in to give her a peck on the cheek. "I’ll see you later." I say before walking away. I get in my car and pull out of the parking lot with a smile plastered on my face.  

     "So what’s up with you and Spencer?" Kyla ask.

     "What’s up with you and Casey?" I snap back at her.

     "Don’t change the subject, seriously what’s up with you two?" She ask again and I sigh.

     "Well I don’t know really, but I’m taking her out tonight." I tell her.

     "Oooh really, well that’s good, maybe finally you guys can get together." She says and I glance at her.
