    Young hearts be free tonight.

    Paula sighed believing her daughter. Spencer never lied, and when she did, it showed. She decided to save the ‘your not going to find a better man’ talk for another time. Spencer wouldn’t take her words seriously, if anything, they’d go in one ear and out the other. “I need something sweet with this.” Her chair slid back as she stood. Paula placed a kiss on the top of Spencer’s head and then walked over to the pantry.

    Spencer looked up at Ashley. The rock star reached out and took her hand, giving it a quick squeeze, she pulled away when she heard the pantry door close. Her eyes fell on her hot chocolate as Paula took her seat again. The blonde came back with a box of brownies. Ashley politely declined when she was offered one and blew on her hot drink, listening to mother daughter talk.

    Gray eyes traveled up the tanned body sprawled out across her queen sized bed. Ashley lied on her back, arms crossed behind her head, eyes closed and content smile spread over her lips. Spencer couldn’t help but smile herself. Ashley looked so relaxed at the moment, like there wasn’t a worry in her mind, she looked happy and it radiated off her in waves, relieving Spencer. There were times when she questioned Ashley’s happiness with her. Sometimes, they’d be lying in the dark, naked, side by side, Spencer would open her eyes and stare at Ashley. There would be this far away look in her eyes as she stared up at the ceiling. The blonde always wondered what Ashley was thinking. The staring would range from seconds to hours, Spencer wanted to hold her, kiss her face, tell her she loved her, do anything to put a smile on her face. She never gave into those urges, not wanting to bother the rock star, she just closed her eyes, fell asleep, and showed the rock star how much she loved her the next morning.

    Ashley felt the bed shift and felt a great amount of joy fill her chest knowing Spencer was with her. The emotions that ran through her were hard to believe, the rock star was still puzzled by them, how easily Spencer affected her, she didn’t understand it. She didn’t understand how she could love someone so much, how her every move could revolve around a single person. Brown eyes opened and she watched Spencer come to her. She moved on her hands and knees with a subtle smile covering her lips. Ashley sat up and cupped her cheek, closing her eyes, she brought those lips to her and kissed the blonde thoroughly, her lips moving sensually against Spencer’s, she lied back and urged her girlfriend down with her, parting her lips, she deepened the kiss.

    2. Wow! How I have truly missed this. Such an amazing update. I can’t say enough. Love this part of their journey together. I’m glad that Ashley is getting to see that she can be a great person without the drugs. Can’t wait for more. Great writing. Very inspiring.

    5. ashley’s getting along with spencer’s family even if paula and arthur get suspicious every once in a while. i’m glad spence had ashley talk to denny maybe he won’t do any more pot and the scene where he’d said i really think she’d let you do her was hilarous my favorite scene. ash really needs to call brenda and talk to kyla not just text pms

    6. i was late to school cause i started reading at 6:00 am and stilll havnt touched my homework. but luckly getting home to read this motivated me to finish my 5 mile run for track faster

    11. This is such a sweet chapter, thanks for making so long. lol, i love the long chapters. I’m really glad Ashley is deciding to change. These two are so amazing. There’s just a ton of things I’m liking about the story. I love how Paula and Arthur actually like Ashley in this fic. Go figure. Anyway I can’t wait for the next update, i’ll be patient but it won’t be easy. XD

    12. First the smoke blowing: You are an amazing author! I wish you could just knock these posts out every week but I know good things take time and so alas I must wait, thank you though for sharing your talent.Ok, soo interesting, I get the impression that Paula is either A)passive aggressive or B) just really cool with the fact that Ashley and Spencer are seemingly together… Arthur on the other hand seems a little less like he’d be into their relationship…Time will tell I suppose.I love Denny! He’s like a male Ashley…a little more immature but I like him!Also, interesting form of therapy for Ashley…meeting a well adjusted family seems to have helped put a few things into perspective for her. Maybe she needs to stay out of LA, environment is apparently everything…or maybe what Ashley needs to do is turn her actually family into a better one. Hopefully she reconnects with Kyla and her mother, they seem to hold a meaningful soft spot in her heart.PMS PMS PMS

    13. I cannot even tell you how much I loved this update. I took time to read it (3 or 4 days) because I knew it’s gonna take a while for the next update to be posted, so I wanted to savor reading it. I love what you created between Ashley and Spencer…it’s almost something magical. Everytime I read this story I forget everything around me, no lie. (The prologue still worries me, though). I hope Ashley will manage to stay away from the drugs..she’s much better of without them. It probably is gonna take a while, but I hope you’ll update soon-ish. I’m addicted to this story. :P I really am.

    14. I swear i can never get enough of this story… im waiting for something bad to happen though, things are a little too perfect for the girls… o and i cant wait for Spence and Denny to come out to each other
