    “Ashley?”

    The rock star felt a hand on her shoulder, with a start, she turned around. She met Paula’s concerned gaze and swallowed hard, her mind felt all over the place, she looked around for her clothes, expecting to see a mess everywhere, there was none. Turning around, she realized all her bags where still in the SUV. She gasped in surprised and then felt around her nose, it felt normal, no burning or itching- it all confused the rock star. Had she imagined the whole thing? “Ashley?” The rock star faced the older blonde, her hands were trembling, she didn’t have to look to know. “Are you alright? You look…scared.” Ashley didn’t know what to say, she was scared, her mind was playing tricks on her, was this real? She questioned staring into familiar gray eyes. “Lets get you inside, you don’t look too good.” She noted the trembling hands and worried expression, her breathing was also troubling as it slowly sped up.

    Ashley allowed the older blonde to lead her inside. Her muscles were taunt under the arm around her shoulders, they never eased up, not even when she took a seat on the couch, took gulps of deep breaths, mentally calmed herself down, nothing eased her stress. It wasn’t until Paula left the room that she leaned back against the couch and breathed normally. She was exhausted, which was expected, Ashley was getting used to the anxiety attacks. They were brutal and always left her tired, keeping her eyes open soon became difficult. They would have closed if Paula hadn’t chose that moment to reappear.

    The older blonde stared down at the rock star with a cup of tea in her hands. Tea was a great way to soothe the body, it’d hopefully put Ashley to sleep, Paula could easily see the teen’s exhaustion. It would be good if she gave into it. “This should help you out.” Her hand reached out to the rock star, offering the tea, Ashley easily accepted, murmuring a ‘thank you’ as she carefully blew on the hot liquid. Paula observed her, her body language was better, she wasn’t as stiff, but she still sensed a bit of nervousness. She decided to leave the rock star alone for a bit, assuming she was the cause of her discomfort. “I’ll be back in a little bit.”

    2. Wow! How I have truly missed this. Such an amazing update. I can’t say enough. Love this part of their journey together. I’m glad that Ashley is getting to see that she can be a great person without the drugs. Can’t wait for more. Great writing. Very inspiring.

    5. ashley’s getting along with spencer’s family even if paula and arthur get suspicious every once in a while. i’m glad spence had ashley talk to denny maybe he won’t do any more pot and the scene where he’d said i really think she’d let you do her was hilarous my favorite scene. ash really needs to call brenda and talk to kyla not just text pms

    6. i was late to school cause i started reading at 6:00 am and stilll havnt touched my homework. but luckly getting home to read this motivated me to finish my 5 mile run for track faster

    11. This is such a sweet chapter, thanks for making so long. lol, i love the long chapters. I’m really glad Ashley is deciding to change. These two are so amazing. There’s just a ton of things I’m liking about the story. I love how Paula and Arthur actually like Ashley in this fic. Go figure. Anyway I can’t wait for the next update, i’ll be patient but it won’t be easy. XD

    12. First the smoke blowing: You are an amazing author! I wish you could just knock these posts out every week but I know good things take time and so alas I must wait, thank you though for sharing your talent.Ok, soo interesting, I get the impression that Paula is either A)passive aggressive or B) just really cool with the fact that Ashley and Spencer are seemingly together… Arthur on the other hand seems a little less like he’d be into their relationship…Time will tell I suppose.I love Denny! He’s like a male Ashley…a little more immature but I like him!Also, interesting form of therapy for Ashley…meeting a well adjusted family seems to have helped put a few things into perspective for her. Maybe she needs to stay out of LA, environment is apparently everything…or maybe what Ashley needs to do is turn her actually family into a better one. Hopefully she reconnects with Kyla and her mother, they seem to hold a meaningful soft spot in her heart.PMS PMS PMS

    13. I cannot even tell you how much I loved this update. I took time to read it (3 or 4 days) because I knew it’s gonna take a while for the next update to be posted, so I wanted to savor reading it. I love what you created between Ashley and Spencer…it’s almost something magical. Everytime I read this story I forget everything around me, no lie. (The prologue still worries me, though). I hope Ashley will manage to stay away from the drugs..she’s much better of without them. It probably is gonna take a while, but I hope you’ll update soon-ish. I’m addicted to this story. :P I really am.

    14. I swear i can never get enough of this story… im waiting for something bad to happen though, things are a little too perfect for the girls… o and i cant wait for Spence and Denny to come out to each other
