Falling down means you have to crawl back up – (Chapter: Returning (chapter 1))
Spencer had undergone a long summer, trying to grasp everything that had gone on during the prom. It was meant to have been the best night of her life, or at least one of them, one of those experiences that you look back on in 15 years and smile; remembering the goofy photograph, the last dance before the music faded and then the after party. Only one of those things had happened, and if she ever decided to think back to that night it would be with a pain in her heart.
The girl looked around her room trying to focus on the things she would need to function with at school. Pens, check; pencil, check; paper, check. She couldn’t think if she needed anything else so she decided that she was finally ready and packed and prepared to venture out into the world beyond her house. Reaching her door way to leave she suddenly felt the fear seep into her veins, her breathing began to get heavy and sharp while her heart was pounding much too quickly. Spencer placed her hand over her heart dropping her bag and using her spare hand to keep herself upright.
The thud had cause Glen to appear in the hallway to witness his younger sister having a panic attack, quickly rushing to her side. “Spence, breathe, deep breathes.” He told her reaching around her to support the panicking girls body and slowly moving her back to her bed to sit her down.
“Come on Spencer, calm down, it’s going to be fine alright, breathe.” After five minutes she started to go back to her normal breathing. “You alright now?” He asked still rubbing her back. Although he, himself knew he had never been a particularly great brother, since prom a new sense of over protection had come on towards Spencer.
“Yeah I’m good, sorry about that.” She quickly stood up lifting her bag as though nothing had happened, the blonde teenager frowned at her.
“Spence, you just had another panic attack, just chill out for five minutes.”
“Glen, seriously I’m fine.” The sentence was firm and she put extra emphasis on the final word.
“You are not fine, So don’t pretend to me you are, if you don’t want to talk about it fine, but don’t lie.” The concern in his voice touched her and caused a small smile to appear on her pale face.

I rarely ever really like a Fan Fiction enough to post a comment, but I truly enjoyed reading this one. I like that her and Kyla are friends, they always seemed to get along quite well. I’d love to hear more from Ashley’s point of view though. Good job and PMS.
Great story…but for the first time I despise Ashley. How could she? Spencer gave up her life for Ashley and now she’s with Aiden…You write it so well.
