    Chapter 12

    *~*~*~*~

    “Hold the elevator!” AJ said quickly, rushing into the elevator and thanking the blonde bass player for holding it. “I owe you one.” He said slightly out of breath.

    Spencer looked at the man who could easily pass for Ashley’s twin and replied, “No problem.”  While smiling.

    “You have such a lovely smile.” AJ said returning the smile and loving her blush. “No wonder why you’re on so many magazines.”

    Spencer inwardly groaned, hating the mental pictures the word ‘magazine’ brought on but still continued to smile. She wasn’t going to let that ruin anymore of her day. “Believe me it’s not my smile.” She chuckled. “It’s Aiden’s body they love.” Her boyfriend was in most of the magazine pictures she was in, with his arms wrapped around her or just standing  by her side.

    AJ snorted before he could stop himself, he never did like Aiden, and smiled sheepishly at the amused look Spencer gave him. “Believe me, you don’t want to know.” He joked stepping in sync with Spencer out of the elevator. AJ looked over at her and asked, “So….you headed back to your room?”

    Spencer met his gaze and held up the hot cup of tea she was holding. After leaving their suite Spencer went down to the Casino’s buffet and ordered a hot tea for Ashley. The waitress gave her a funny look before getting the tea and came back with the hot beverage and her digital camera. Spencer spent the next couple of minutes taking pictures and signing napkins before heading back to her suite. “It’s for Ashley.” She explained casually, not liking the skeptical look AJ had on his face.

    “For Ashley.” He repeated slowly. Interesting, he thought with the end of his lips quirking into a grin. “Well lucky her.”

    Spencer didn’t say anything just nodded her head. They started walking toward the suite when Spencer’s phone rang. She handed AJ the steaming cup and answered it. “Hello?……I’m headed to my room…..no…..um, right now?” She looked over at AJ who was watching her with mild interest. “You are?…..No that’s alright  I’ll just meet you there….okay, alright. Bye baby.” Spencer closed her phone and sighed.

    “Is there a problem?” AJ asked watching Spencer put her phone away.

    1. I don’t know what to think anymore…Apparently, drugs are more important to Ashley than anything else in her life. She lost her mother, sister, now we can add Spencer to that list too…she has officially hit rock bottom, and for what? A few lines of coke? And random hookups? How much further does she have to sink before she realizes everything she has lost? If she keeps it up, no one will want to be with her anymore. And I am kinda pissed at Spencer too…she puts all this blame on Ashley, but she is with Aiden. She never even made a choice between whether she would leave Aiden or be with Ashley..maybe if she did…Ashley would maybe clean her act up…But How Spencer feels Ashley views her as a groupie…Ashley feels the same way about Spencer too…they both think they are just another fuck to one another…It seems to me they need to have a talk, and Ashley needs to straighten her life the fuck out…and quick…Awesome Update…Can’t wait to read more…I wait for the update where Ashley gets clean, and Her and Spencer get together. PMS

    2. This is one of the best fics I’ve ever read. I love that even though you don’t post very often, each post you do get out is just like packed with plot. Spencer is driving me insane with her whole ‘I love Ashley, but I can’t hurt Aiden cause I’m a damn angel’ routine. On the other hand, Ash is driving me insane as well with her ‘Spencer can never love me and I don’t deserve to be loved so I’m gonna go fuck up my life more’ routine. They both need to just like suck it up and find a freaking pair. Oh and I kind of despise AJ even though he hasn’t done much. He seems like a complete twit. I really hope Spashley gets over themselves real soon and finally tell eachother the damn truth. Aiden will seriously get over it, but I guess I never felt sorry for him in the first place. He may be a good person in this fic, but I still see him as the same Aiden that acted like an ass in the season 2 finale. I adore this fic, so post again realllly soooon.

    3. I don’t trust AJ either and what Pops did was horrible. Who gives their kids drugs? Anyway I think the two girls definetly need to talk and clear some things up, and Ashley needs to do something about the drugs. It’s probably easier said then done but still she needs to do it before the next thing she loses is her life. PMS REAL SOON. If you can please =D

    8. Today I sat down at my computer and found this fanfic and read until I finished. The plot is so character driven that you fall in love with these character’s, but are frustrated with their choices. Spencer and Ashley need to talk instead of bounce around the subject of “love”. COMMUNICATION is always the best policy…it’s frustrating to watch these character’s destroy the one thing they crave and that’s love for one another…PMS
