“Ashleeeey!!!!” Spencer whined from the tub.
“What?” Ashley’s head appeared in the doorway. She’s been finishing up the baby’s room, and since Spencer still doesn’t know what the sex is, she’s not allowed to help. She got to go and pick out the furniture with Ashley, but nothing else.
“Come in with me.” Spencer put on a big pout while Ashley just stared at her smiling and shaking her head.
“You’re the one who wanted to take a bath alone. You didn’t want me in there with you 10 minutes ago, and now you’re giving me The Pout?” Spencer just kept her lip extended and nodded her head with begging eyes. Ashley chuckled as she removed her shirt behind the door and out of Spencer’s sight.
“Why cant I see you get naked?” She changed the tone of her voice for the last word as she giggled to herself.
“You have been in the weirdest moods lately.” Ashley was fully naked when she came back into view and slowly slid herself into the tub across from Spencer. “And I had paint on my clothes. That’s why I had to take them off out there.”
“You are so mean… You always flaunt the fact that you know what we’re having and it hurts, Ashley!” Spencer was first yelling and now she was trying not to cry. Ashley tried hard not to smile at the dramatic changes of moods, but she couldn’t quite make it go away. “Stop laughing at me!” Spencer was now crying as she turned away from Ashley.
“Aw baby I’m sorry. You’re just so damn cute. I cant help it.”
“I’m not cute, I’m annoying. Its sad when you start annoying yourself. I can run away from you, but I cant get away from myself. I’m fat and sore and tired and frustrated and I just want this baby outta me already, I don’t know how much longer I can…” But her frustrated rant was cut short by an amazing feeling she’s never felt before. “Oh my god, that feels SO good.” She leaned her head back and closed her eyes.
“Well if I’m gonna get that reaction maybe I will have to do it more often.” Ashley laughed as she concentrated on all the pressure points in Spencer’s foot. Just because she hated feet didn’t mean that she didn’t know what she was doing.

I cant believe Paula! She’s going to miss out on her daughter and granddaughters life cause she’s so close minded! And pulling that stunt with Scott…not cool. I’m so glad they got through it though! And Spencer told her to leave! I really love this story, its so much more in depth about the girls and their lives together! PMS!

First of all, thanks for the long update. Secondly, this chapter had every emotion imaginable, joy of a beautiful baby girl, laughter when Spencer was squeezing Ashley’s hand, anger when Paula brought Scott into the picture, hatred just because Paula exists, and sheer happiness because Spencer & Ashley have now begun the journey of parenthood with the one they love. Excellent writing! PMS

OK FYI I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE NAME MY DAUGHTER’S NAME IS CADENCE ANNE AND I WANTED SOOO BAD TO NAME HER KENNEDY BUT WE DIDN’T AGREE SO WE ENDED UP NAMING HER CADENCE BUT DAAAAAAAAAAMN I LOVE THAT NAME SO MUCH.
