The week passed fairly quickly.  And now it was Thursday afternoon and Ashley was sitting in her office at work, worrying about the ordeal that was going to take place in her home that night.

“Jessie!  What time is the appointment for Raging Willies tomorrow?” Ashley called out to her assistant.  Raging Willies?? Are they serious?  None of them are even named Will… Some people in this industry can be completely stupid.

“11:00.”

“Alright so I’ll be in at like 10:30.” She looked at the clock and saw that it was 12:15.  That’s weird Spence always calls by 12.   She picked up her phone and dialed Spencer’s extension.  A very stressed Spencer answered.

“Rock Labels this is Spencer.” 

“Hey babe… what are you doing?”

“Correcting the graphics for the band that’s coming in tomorrow.”

“Babe, isn’t that Marty’s job?”

“Yeah, but he’s at home, his son’s sick and these designs aren’t going to fix themselves.”

“I think he’s lying… he’s probably at home watching the big game, drinking a beer, and laughing at how stressed you are.”

“Was there something you needed or are you just calling to stress me out more?”

“Lunch… I’m thinking Chinese.”

“Shit! It’s already 12?  I’m so behind, I’ll never get these prints done in…”

“Spencer!! Calm down.  Breath…”  Spencer took a deep breath, and then blew it into the phone making a motor boat noise.  Ashley giggled.  “Good.  Now… you’re married to the boss… you get special treatment… that’s how it works.”

“Ash, I don’t want the only reason that I’m working her to be the fact that you’re my wife.  I wanna prove myself you know?”

“Of course I do.  Why do you think I started my own label and didn’t take over my dad’s?”

“True.”

“But for now, get your cute little ass up here and have lunch with me.”

“But…”

“No… if you wanna keep your job you have to keep the boss happy.”

“And if you wanna keep your sex life you’ll have to keep your wife happy.”

“Touché.  But seriously get up here, you need a break.”

“Fine.”

“Usual?”
