    “Ash I think you should come here, I came in and saw the nurses taking out Ky’s breathing thingy, and…well just get up here already!” He said anxiously.

     

    Ashley’s POV

         It’s been a good three weeks and Kyla still hasn’t woke from her coma. I went up to the hospital every day to see her. I even stayed the night there a few times because I didn’t feel like sleeping at the appartment alone. I mean it wouldn’t bother me to stay there by myself any other time, but the fact that she was in the hospital made me scared, and I didn’t want to leave her alone.

         I was with Spencer today and we were just hanging out at her house. Her family had my back with this whole situation, and it felt great knowing they had my back. I guess they concider me part of the family. I never would have thought that people could be so caring and loving like the Carlin family. Paula even accepted me, it was shocking at first, but now its great. Feels like I actually have a mom for once, and a father again.

         Me and Spenc were up in her room on her bed with a box full of old pictures. A lot of them were older pictures of her, and there were some of me and her. I got to see some of her old pics from grade school. She was embarrassed about the one of her in 2nd grade. She had on a little pink dress and her hair was up tight in a ponytail. Not to mention she had two front teeth missing. But believe it or not, she was still the cutest thing i’ve ever seen.

         "Awww, look it’s little Spency in the bath tub!" I said making a face looking at the picture.

         "Omg…okay this was a bad idea, these are so embarrassing!" She said blushing and taking the pic out of my hand. I laughed as she started to put all the photos back in the box.

         "Wait…" I said as I picked up a photo that I haven’t seen before. It was me and her at the beach on the pier. In the picture we were sitting on the doc and she was kissing me on the cheek. I was smiling, my nose crickled and eyes close. She stopped what she was doing and looked at the pic with me.
