Aiden’s P.O.V.

I had to look good for my date with Ashley tonight. I ditched her at the ball last night, and that’s no way to treat one of the most demanding, popular girls in all the Upper East Side. No wonder she left with Spencer, her best friend, and also one of the most gorgeous girls in Manhattan. But I don’t know if I should believe all these rumors about Ashley and Spencer hooking up…and if they did, shouldn’t it just turn me on? Its not like Ashley has romantic feelings for Spencer, that’s pretty much a given, since she has been talking about our future together at Yale since was like 13. And, she’s too preoccupied about gossip girl and what people think about her to ditch me, and hook up with a chick.

So I’ve got nothing to worry about right?

“Aiden!” Thank god. Just when I needed an ego boost, my best friend and wingman, Glen walked into my room. “How’s it going my man?” he asked, giving me a pat on the back.

“Good. Got a date with Ashley tonight.”

“Oh, nice! Are you guys going out, or uh staying in?” he asked, winking at me suggestively.

“We are going to a movie…”

“C’mon Aiden! You’ve been wining and dining this girl since she was what? Thirteen? You need to get what’s rightfully yours!”

“And that would be…”

“Her virginity! C’mon, pop that cherry! I’m surprised you’ve held off this long!”

“Not everyone needs sex like every day to survive Glen. And don’t act like your this big player…you’ve been dating Madison for like two weeks now.”

“And what makes you think I haven’t hooked up with other girls?” he said with a sly smile. I had to roll my eyes. “You know me Aiden. I can’t stay with a girl too long or I’ll get extremely bored.”

“Yeah, yeah whatever.”

“So I think you should invite her back to your place tonight. Your parents are gone right?”

“Yeah…”

“Well then do it!” he exclaimed, checking his watch. “Oh, shit man. I got to go. But I expect to hear some details about tonight later!”
