    Ashley reunites with old friends

    “Admit it Ash, you guys are at, like, the top of the music food chain,” Ben added, as, appropriately, a group of teenagers came over asking for her autograph, which she gave.

    “Whatever.” We made small talk until we ordered, and Matt went outside to smoke a cigarette.

    “So give me the low-down… how did you two finally work things out?” Ben asked.

    “I went to one of her shows in the city last year… and, I guess… we just talked?”

    “Basically,” Ash confirmed.

    “Oh come on, almost 2 years of hearing you whining about not being with her, and that’s all I get?”

    “Okay… so we talked and then we decided to go out onstage and make out for hours. And after that, we got a hotel room and had hot sex until the wee hours of the morning. And the next day we decided, hey, that was fun… let’s do it again, every day for the rest of our lives.” All 3 of us were laughing by that point.

    “You always did have a really interesting imagination Ash,” Ben joked. “But I’m happy for you… both of you.” We looked at each other briefly before smiling back at him. ‘Yeah’ was all I could think.

    Since Spencer had a lot of work to do, she went back to her dorm and I stayed with the guys. It had been so long; I was glad that nothing seemed to have change.

    “So… what do you think?” I asked, as we made our way back to their hotel.

    “She’s great, Ash,” Matt said.

    “I agree. She seems like she’s really genuine,” Ben added.

    “She is.”

    “And not that bad to look at either, huh?” Matt teased.

    “Not bad at all,” Ben grinned. I put my hands up in defeat.

    “I won’t argue with you there,” I agreed with a smile. We reached their hotel and after I said hello to the other members of their band, Matt left to go get some alcohol.

    “So do you want to do the honors?” Ben asked as he pulled out his bowl and a baggie of pot.

    “I don’t… anymore…”

    “What?” he inquired, a shocked look on his face. “Shut up and pack the bowl.”

    “Seriously… I’ll pack it for you but I’m not going to smoke it.” I took it from him, sniffing the pot (and it smelled good) before packing the bowl.

    2. Good to see an old-school fan fic writer back in action-not that I don’t enjoy the new stuff…it’s just that a familiar name is always welcome.

    3. Hmm, is this the calm before the storm? Nonetheless, I’m still loving this story and your writing. I’d like to apologize for not commenting on the last chapter. I still had food poisoning, which was just all kinds of wrong…not that it’s ever right, but I definitely know that a lack of comments can be a writer’s kryptonite. As always, looking forward to the next update. Holla!

For some reason I have this itch in me for the whole school to walk into Spencer’s room and she that she is sleeping with the hottest rockstar in the nation! lol, maybe cause that is what I wish would happen to me?? lol…great story!
