Anyway, after school was all done, the three of us decided to head to Cancun to let off steam before we resigned ourselves to college life. Me and Madison are flying solo this trip, but Carmen is leaving her new girlfriend, Laura at home. They seem pretty happy together and I can already tell that Laura is much better for Carmen than her last girlfriend (well obviously) even though they’ve only been together for 4 months.

Which is what brings us here inside this sweaty club, all intoxicated and euphoric as we dance and bask in the freedom of being post-high school.

“Hey Madison, where is Carmen?” I ask, after not seeing the girl for a half hour or so.

“She met some chick and has been dancing with her and her friends over there.”

I look over to where Madison is pointing and there was Carmen grinding with some brunette chick, while another brunette chick and a tall dark haired guy were dancing nearby. I couldn’t see her face but she looked pretty hot from the back. Nice going Carmen!

“I’m sure Laura won’t be too pleased with your cousin, hey Mads?”

“Carmen can do what she wants. She’s on holidays and they’ve barely been dating four months.”

“Whatever. As long as I find some hot chick this trip I don’t really care!”

I was interrupted by someone placing a hand on my hip and dancing closely behind me.

“Maybe I can help you with that?”
I turned around and found a tall blonde girl dancing in front of me. She was pretty cute as well and I was happy to go along with it all.

“I’ll leave you two alone and go talk to Carmen…” Madison wandered off with a wink, leaving me alone with this blonde girl.

“I’m Sam.”

“Spencer.”

“I’ve been looking at you all night. I thought you might have been with your friend. But then I saw her checking out Emo over there and assumed she must be straight.”

“Well no I am definitely not with Madison, and she is 100% straight. But which guy are you referring to?”

Sam pointed towards where Carmen was dancing with the hot brunette and Madison was chatting up the dark haired guy standing nearby. Go Madison, he seemed pretty cute, even if he is Emo. I returned my attention back to Sam and we continued dancing for a while.

“So Spencer, would you like a drink?”

“Uh-”

“Hey Spencer, you ready to go?”

My sentence was interrupted by Carmen calling out to me on the dance floor.

I was fairly disappointed since I was having such a great time with Sam but I was getting pretty tired.

“If you guys are going I’ll come with you,” I said to Carmen then looked back at Sam, “It was great meeting you Sam. Are you staying at this hotel?”

“Yeah. I’m here with a friend until Sunday so I’ll definitely see you around.”

“I’d really like that,” I said smiling at her. She really was cute.

“OK Spence, let’s go,” Carmen said yanking me away from Sam and towards the door where her brunette, Madison and Emo and the other girl were standing. “Oh and by the way Spence, we’re all going back to the room to have some more drinks and just hang out.”

“Ok, who’s we all?”

“That hot girl I was dancing with all night. She’s staying here at the hotel as well with her sister and their guy friend Madison wants to fuck.”

“Great so you and Mads can get it on with your respective people and I get dragged away from the hot blonde on the dance floor that I was interested in?”

“Well you can have her sister if you really want. She is completely straight but I’m sure she makes for good conversation…” Carmen laughed as we approached the group waiting outside.

“Yeah, thanks Carm…” I mumbled as she greeted everyone else.

“Spence, this is Aiden, Kyla and this here is Ashley.” Carmen said introducing her new friends, while sliding her hand up the back of Ashley’s shirt.

My God, Ashley is hot.

Aiden and Kyla said hello but Ashley just looked me up and down and then completely ignored me and started dragging Carmen back to our room.

Hot and rude it seems, were my thoughts as i followed the group back to our room.
