    Alexi keeps Sam company.

    “The daughter of a rock star.”  Spencer smiled and closed the door to the guest bedroom.

    “Oh man,” Tina thought.  “This is gonna be crazy.”

    “How long?”  Tina asked Alexi.  They were eating breakfast at one of their favorite places.

    “How long what?”  Alexi said with a mouthful of pancakes.

    “How long have you been having the headaches?”  Alexi looked at a very serious Tina.

    “A couple of weeks now.”  Alexi shrugged it off and Tina kept staring unconvinced.

    “Okay! Jeez enough with the staring, they started a couple months ago.”  Alexi pushed the plate away suddenly losing her appetite.

    “I think you should go get it checked out.”  Tina said concerned.

    “I know.  But really I mean they aren’t that bad and…”  Tina interjected.

    “You passed out the other night Al.”

    “It’s because I was drinking and I didn’t get hurt I mean…”

    “It’s not because you were drinking.  You only had two drinks that night and you and I both know that you can hold your liquor.”  Ash knew she was right.

    “Okay, I’ll make an appointment with Dr. Jones tomorrow.”  Tina said good feeling better that Alexi was taking this more seriously.

    “Oh and by the way, I have work tonight so I was wondering if you could keep Sp-Sam busy.”  Tina said not looking up, finishing the food that Alexi pushed away.

    “Oh.  Okay what time?”  Alexi was trying not to sound too enthusiastic but was not doing a good job at it.

    “I don’t know 6 or something?  Bring her flowers or something to make her feel more welcome.”  Tina winked at Alexi.

    “Tina…I told you that I’m not…” Alexi was interrupted.

    “Yeah yeah a lesbo…I get it.”  Tina and Alexi laughed and finished their meals.

    “Wait.  I’m gonna be alone with her?!”  Spencer almost screamed it out at Tina.

    “Uh…yeah.  Why does it matter you’ve known her for like 6 years.”  Tina said getting her scrubs on for work.

    “No.  I haven’t.  I’ve known Ashley for that long.  I just met Alexi a week ago.”  Spencer was nervous. 

    “Hey, if you made her fall in love with you once before, you can do it again.”  Spencer glared at Tina and heard a knock at the door.  She opened it up to see Alexi holding a bouquet of yellow roses.  “Don’t say a thing,” Alexi warned Tina who giggled inside, pulling her friend in and saying goodbye to the girls.  “Have fun you two!”  Tina left Alexi just staring at Spencer.
