If I could only have the one I want. – (Chapter: You 4ever left your mark in me: chapter 2)
Monday morning (around 9)
As Ashley panted down the beach, iPod blaring she realized she was at a dead sprint; she slowed her pace to a light jog and looked around, no one, not a sole on the beach. This was exactly the way she liked it. As she neared her gaurdtower she saw Jordan getting out of her car and heading down.
“How the hell do you run that every day, I’d die?!” Jordan yelled about 10 feet from Ashley as the girls met at the tower
“I don’t know, I guess it’s the only time I really get to let go, plus I don’t have you talking my ear off” Ashley said with a grin
“ouch, score one Davies” Jordan had made her way up the tower and situated all the crap for a day’s work, she set up chairs and turned on the stereo
“So Jordan, I was a bit shocked when I didn’t see you once at my house last night, where did you go”
“Well…and bear with me on this one, it will come as a bit of a shock to you…” by this time she had Ashley wondering what was up
“I DO have my own life away from you Miss Davies, I actually had a date” Jordan said pushing the other girl
Even though Jordan had the biggest crush on Ashley, she would never change her ways, she was definitely what people call a player and was actually voted most likely to never settle down in her high school yearbook
“Ooo really, do tell, I’m dying to hear how you suckered this one into a room alone with you” Ashley said with a serious face
“Not funny, but anyway , her names Spencer and I met her at this live concert down on main street, we hit it off, started talking, went to her place, talked for hours, then made out for a couple more” Jordan said in a serious tone
“So, how long is this one going to last, I put my money on a week. She either won’t put out, or you’ll find another girl and you’ll break her heart just like every other girl in this city.” Ashley said in a sarcastic manner
“I don’t know ash, this one feels different, and I might actually try to keep this one around awhile”
